Visited the Dumfries store today to purchase a pair of trainers for work, I showed the guy the ones I was wearing and told him I wanted the exact same trainer, he immediately took me to them and sorted my size, didn't get his name but he was south African and extremely helpful.

Around two weeks ago I purchased sports socks priced at £7.99. Which was a marked down price. Today I went back to purchase another set of sports socks, and low and behold they were marked up to £10 ,with a sticker saying sale price. Another not that unusual nowadays way of shafting customers, thinking we are getting a cut price bargain. I shopped at our Dumfries unit.

The Asistant was very Customer orientated and couldn't have been more helpful , she's a credit to Sports Direct .

Staff at downstairs till were so slow, 1 woman and two younger girls with faces like fizz at the till. Certainly puts you off going back.Customer Service training very badly needed!!!

Staff stand around talking at the till and impossible to get proper help from them with anything. Clothes are mislabelled with incorrect sizes and the store is terribly laid out for finding anything

Phoned ahead to ask if they had rock climbing shoes. Was told they had them. Drove over an hour to get them. Arrived and told they don't have them. Excuse was that someone from Game answered and they don't know the stock. In that case, don't have the Game employees answer Sports Direct questions. Waste of time and money.

Lots of great bargains and sales at the moment, lots of variety regarding casual clothes, workout clothes, and work clothes. Plus, a good range of sizes too!
