Really nice hotel. Was perfect location for a work trip in Dumfries. Spacious room and bathroom. Clean and tidy. Bed very comfy. Only downside was room was very warm first night (even tho window had been opened) as sun had been streaming in. No aircon so no way to really cool room as I disnt want to keep window open at night as disnt want any insects flying in. I did put the fan on which aas available in the room which helped a little. The next day I left curtains ahut and window open slightly which helped keep room cooler. Didnt affect my rating tho as they dont control weather and who knew aircon would be needed in Scotland lol Would happily stay there again if need to go back to Dumfries. Had dinner in restraunt which was lovely and staff friendly and quick service.

Considering where this is it's great. The room I had #34 was great, modern update with a great bathroom and new TV. Sometimes you get crap old room but this place was great. The food is also good, good prices too. Can't complain at all. Be warned tho the entrance to the carpark is a bomb site and will rock your car like a jack hammer so go steady!

Having booked an accessible room, on arrival we found it to be at the end of two very long corridors. With a heart condition this was quite unsatisfactory. Fortunately a young lady who happened to be a room service employee noticed the effect the long walk had, stopped and went well out of her way to help by arranging with the help of Paul, the receptionist, a change of room. We would like to recommend that Kirsty and Paul get special mention for their kindness and efficiency.
We also found Anna and Angela in the restaurant particularly helpful.

We went in August and the rooms were very hot (27 degrees). We were told there was nothing we could do about this other than use the fan in our room. Our fan was broken. It was replaced in the morning though. Other than that, a standard Premier Inn experience.

It?s the friendly staff that make this place. Great welcome and very helpful staff. Convenient place to stay at economical rates. Very handy for area while traveling. Good evening meals and unlimited breakfast

Room too hot and temperature adjustment made no difference. Also, no HDMI port to plug laptop into TV. But, staff are friendly and helpful and food is very good.

Stayed here for two nights on a training course, really well located and tucked away off the main road , staff are brilliant, enthusiastic and really helpful, the evening meals were outstanding and the service was brilliant, room was really nice and spacious, my only criticism would be the constant fan noise in the bedroom and the bacon at breakfast, otherwise really enjoyed my stay

We recently had a short holiday in Dumfries and as The Premier Inn was just round the corner from us so we decided to have dinner there. , if should be noted that they do not open till 5.00 pm. What a delight there, from the start to finished we enjoyed a pleasant meal served with a smile. Would recommend this place.

We booked here for 2 nights. Our first stay at a Premier Inn in Scotland. Convenient location, car park, room layout etc. Unfortunately, each night our room, 123, was subject to some unknown mechanical noise coming from a room nearby. This lasted from 10pm until the early hours on both occasions.
Not conducive to a restful night's sleep. Unlikely to return here.
