Purchased a pair of trainers from the dumfries store for £50, payed the £50 then noticed there was a sale on the juniors for £35. When questioned about it the man came and ripped the sale tag off and said the sale had ended. Which is illegal as it was still marked at sale price and should have been sold at sale price.Customer service in the lorburne centre store is absolutely shocking

We were looking for shorts in JD sports. My partner wanted some with zip pockets, & we managed to find 3 pairs. It will probably rain now for the rest of the month & they will be put away in the drawer! A really dreadful shop to manouver around when u are in a wheelchair! The shop has so many clothes, shoes & rails, that we spent more time reversing than we did looking for clothes!I did mention it to the lady behind the pay desk, but the apology was very half hearted, she really couldn't give a toss.

So I ordered converse for a friend's birthday as the size wasn't on the shelf, the assistant said be next day delivery cost £1.00. we went all though address name the usual speel, so she said that be £75.00, I said what about the delivery charge? She said, well it's doesn't seem to have gone through, I said I did say they were for a birthday gift the next day? I said so okay when will they come , her answer was 3/5 working day, I felt she simply wanted the sale at any costs and deliberately failed to tell me they weren't coming the next day as it would not accept the delivery charge, I don't like to be mislead and felt in this case I was, had I not enquired about the delivery or charge I'd still be waiting for them, I simply cancelled the transaction, what a waste of prescious time!

Overpriced sportswear. Choose what you like and buy it from the sports direct online site. A member of staff told me, don't buy things in here they are much cheaper online Hmmm thanks

Always has a good selection of branded footwear and clothing from toddler to adult plus you can sometimes grab a great deal. I purchased a pair of adidas trainers for £10 instead of £100. In general there is always at least a few pairs on show for a bargain price. Plenty of staff around to help with queries and sizing.

Decent quality stuff but just too expensive and not the best of selection. All seems to be Nike now. Loads of staff in there just standing doing nothing it seems. Old shop was actually better
