Brought my Juke in for a full service just over 2 weeks ago. I mentioned twice that my brakes had been squeaking and asked if they were ok. I was told the brake pads had plenty of wear left and the report showed a measurement of 7+mm. My brakes were still noisy so I went to Kwik Fit 2 days ago where they removed the brake pads in front of me and measured them at 4mm. Brake pads AND discs needed replacing. I have raised an official complaint and will expect a refund for services not performed. Not to mention the sheer lack of concern for driver safety.
On top of that, I was told my tyres would need replacing in about a year or so. I asked if I could make a long journey to Italy on them and was reassured. Kwik fit has recommended I replace them before this trip.
Absolute rip off. I am so incredibly angry with Halfords.

Unfortunately their broken emissions testing equipment meant I had to cancel but they were very helpful beforehand and apologetic afterwards...
