Went I to get my x box repaired, said they'd be right with me. They got back to me 35 minutes later they said they can't do anything because I didn't buy it from their store in the last 12 months, but I'd dosnt say anything about that on their website

It?s currys, not everything is in stock anything that is can be collected but anything that isnt has to be delivered to your address for a fee, just a heads up

Was misled by a price tag for £49 which turned out to be £90.
Complained but fobbed off with excuse it wasn't Curries who set up the dispay or someone switched things around. The proper ticket was a foot and a half to the left. The £49 item was not on dispay as out of stock. Very poor service and probably liable for a fine under the trades description act.

Our tv broke unexpectedly and we visited currys in Dumfries, where a lovely young chap helped us.
They didn't have the tv in stock that we wanted and ended up paying more than we wanted to, but we were able to take the tv away on that day which suited us .

Awful customer service today in dumfries store. Enquired about Currys price match promise and staff couldn't have been more disinterested if they tried. Same product (Samsung galaxy s24 256gb phone) advertised on Amazon for £180 cheaper, having bought phone just 2 days earlier from them.
One staff member barely looked up from what she was doing at till to give a half-hearted explanation which I had to ask for clarification as to why it wasn't eligible. Unfortunately , i had used vouchers to make the purchase so all i would have received was a credit note had i returned the phone. Obviously no use. The salesman, who was standing next to me, then proceeded to walk away. Head down by this time at the till, he simply said 'sorry folks'. I reiterated it was a lot of money to have paid extra as I passed him but he didn't care whatsoever. Shocking customer service and a price promise which is bound by red tape in its terms and conditions. I absolutely will not buy another single thing from Currys after today due to inept staff who don't care about customer aftersales. So mad at the staff's attitude and lack of interest that they have sold a product which I later found for so much cheaper. ? staff training a must for individuals at this store.
