Stayed overnight to break the journey and the reviews were a little mixed so we were unsure. The hotel is a bit rundown and in a fairly scruffy service area. However, the staff were lovely, welcoming and professional. The rooms we had were clean and the beds very comfortable. The windows don't open as many reviews mentioned but there was a thermostat we could use. Despite being by a main road, there was barely any traffic noise. Plenty of options for coffee (Costa, Starbucks, Greggs, Subway) and snacks with supermarkets a few minutes away and many options in town. Large well lit car park. Would stay again.

Stayed here for 1 night. The room was what you'd expect from Premier Inn. The bathroom needs work. Either change the bin or clean up the wall, simple change. The location is right beside a main road, but I wasn't impacted by any noise. Next door there is a restaurant/bar. Menu is standard pub grub.

Hotel is adequate but tired and in need of refurb. The carpet is loose and dirty. Eatery is getting a new look and desperately needs it. Staff are friendly.

Premier Inns are usually great, but I feel this location fails just a little on the standard I'd expect of this company. The staff were great, friendly, and helpful as you would expect. So, no complaints there.
It's just that the building itself just needs that little bit of TLC that they've shown at other locations. Don't get me wrong, the place is far from terrible. Just not up to the standard of others I have stayed in recently.
The breakfast was great as always. Brilliant value for money. But when the lights are off outside, the pub/restaurant looks abandoned.
Rooms: Adequate, but Premier Inn has much better and more modern rooms in other locations.
Would be nice to have a fridge in the room.

Restaurant Review - service was great feel sorry for them having to serve up a dogs dinner though. Had better stuff served up in the slammer.
£14 for a Mac and cheese which is straight out of icelands 3 meals for £5 aisle.
Honestly, chips so hard they could knock out Tyson Fury.
Bar/Restaurant staff 10/10

TV didn't work at all

It's pretty standard fayre for a Premiere Inn, but we spent a fiver paying for the ultimate Wi-Fi which didn't work, only to be told to call Virgin for a refund as it was their responsibility. Surely if you know the Wi-Fi isn't working you would tell people not to pay for it before they do?
Also, we couldn't get any hot water from the bathroom tap, and we had to ask the front desk to reset the air con because the heating in the room wasn't working.
It's not all bad, the staff are very helpful and friendly and we didn't have a terrible start by any means, but the nonsense with the Wi-Fi put a wee downer on the visit.

A really good Premier Inn, great location. However, I would give the restaurant a miss for both dinner or breakfast as there are local establishments offering better value, quality and especially service

Great helpful and friendly staff. Always good on the location front, however, there is a "but" here.
Even though Premier Inn endorses the fact the rooms are non smoking, an ex guest seems of took it upon themselves to smoke in the bathroom in my room. It really smell terrible of stale smoke. Really dreadful.
However, I spoke with the front desk staff and they changed my room straight away with no fuss - thank you guys

Quite a quiet place

It?s a premier inn, if you been in one you?d have pretty much been in all. Rooms were very warm even with the AC turned off. Windows are fixed shut.

In the first room I was put, the air con was stuck on 17C (cooling) and could not be adjusted from the room.
The second room I could adjust the heating, but there was mould around the window.

Decent and surprisingly quiet rooms despite being close to major roads (partially because the windows are sealed shut and can't be opened. Still no shaver sockets after years of complaints, so bring an adapter if you need to charge an electric toothbrush, shaver or similar

Good location, but unfortunately filthy rooms
Rooms: Windows are sealed, dust every where, mould in bathroom, bad smell from air-conditioning
