I popped into the shop on Dumbarton high street to see if they could fix the nose pad of my glasses even though the glasses were bought somewhere else the staff said no problem and fixed them in less than five minutes free of charge.
The staff were very lovely and next time I need glasses I know were I will be going.

Embarrassingly, I hadn?t had my eyes tested in a while, and, well, I?ve had the same pair of glasses for 12 years. I know, right! You?d have thought I was a regular, though, given the friendly greeting and professionalism of everyone in the shop.
My initial pre-consultation was welcoming, made to feel relaxed, even shared a joke or two which really puts you at ease. The steps of the consultation were then clearly explained. The optometrist was excellent?very professional, explaining each step of the process, talking me through my results, and taking her time to make sure I understood my options. It was a thorough, detailed eye exam, and at no point did I feel rushed. Very professional and friendly approach. I was then given plenty of advice on eye care.
Then it was time to choose new glasses. Remember those 12-year-old frames? I loved everything about them?the style, the fit?everything! But they were outdated; who would have thought! Yet, the staff member helping me was amazing. She picked out one pair?perfect. Then another?spot on. And another. Her knowledge and ability to find frames I was genuinely happy with was impressive.
Overall, the professionalism, knowledge, and duty of care from everyone in the store are remarkable. They set a high standard here in Dumbarton?one that should be used for training in other locations!

Service was excellent, staff attentive and extremely nice, Optical Express in Dumbarton by far the best optician I've ever been to and I have been wearing spectacles for 70 years.

Yeah really inviting with a positive outcome not everyone is happy if you have to wear glasses but at least with optical express but with friendly staff to accommodate your needs with a very good selection you will friendly memory of glasses and lens to choose from ??
