Nice place for lunch

Went in yesterday and ordered a coffee and a roll on square sausage. The coffee arrived in a small china cup but it was nice coffee so that was fine. The roll arrived 15 minutes later...the guy hadn't placed my order wit the cook, even though there were only 4 people in the cafe. The roll was a tiny square sausage soaked in grease in the middle of a large roll. I tried to soak the grease up with the tiny napkin they gave but that ended up saturated in grease too.
I never write reviews but this was pretty bad all round.

What a great spot in Dumbarton! The friendliest service and delicious food and coffee. As a gluten free eater, they were very accommodating, making a wrap into a delicious bowl and adding in perfectly browned potatoes. We really enjoyed our morning there and the ambience is kitschy, fun and welcoming.

The decor, passion of the staff and the quality of food is superb - it's a lovely place to go for fantastic food! You could say it's a victim of its own success, as the times I've been in (busy lunch time service) it's either taken me quite some time to be served (an observation, not a criticism) or the majority of my lunch break to get my order. I have had to leave on a couple of occasions because I couldn't wait. But I'm sure if I made an order ahead of time, this wouldn't be so much of an issue.
AMAZING place to go, so long as you're not in a hurry.

So pleased I found this gem of a coffee shop/cafe. Delicious and tasty sourdough cheese toasty and pot of mint tea. Friendly welcoming service, presentation and atmosphere all fab and reasonable for the high quality of food. Will definitely be going back for more!

Came in today with my Bull-Shiz Suzie for some Lunch, Jamie offered me a towel to dry Suzie off as we just came in after a short shower of rain, I had a toasted cheese sandwich and a cuppa tea & Suzie had a cheeky scrap of bacon, will be coming here again since It?s not only local but Dog friendly too. Thanks Again for having us
