Following the recent refit and rebrand the quality of service has fallen way down. It is no longer the main Dumbarton post office rather a tiny understaffed and under trained couter beside the checkout still trying to serve the high volume a high street post office gets of customers. There is no space to queue, most staff cant serve on the post office and only one actually does a decent job (middle aged man who has got great banter and deserves to be a manager!). The checkout staff dont even ring for post office trained staff when there is a queue and just grin stupidly at the waiting customers. The shop its self is good looking however all the leaks and roof isues were not fixed so buckets are still all over the place. Prices have gone up as well making the other shops in the area better value. The only reason its a 2 star rather than a 1 is because on the one excelent staff member and the fact they can now take DPD and EVRI parcels though this does make the post office issues worse!

Do not buy booze out this place. Daylight robbery. Liquor shed next door is way cheaper. £2.10 for a 440 of cider. £2 for 500 next door! Crooks.

Very handy small local shop with a basic stock of the most needed items, nothing major and it?s Reasonably priced.Went few times to drop some packages to the post and every time the customer service is Excellent.

Pretty good store that stocks things that can be difficult to find elsewhere
