A fantastic and very slick professional service. I moved estate agent to Caledonia Bureau after failing to sell via another local agency. Malcolm gave an honest, knowledgeable valuation - he's clearly very familiar with the local market. Gemma was friendly and enthusiastic throughout and great at keeping me informed. Any hiccups with the property (it was empty and I am not living locally now so had to ask for help with a couple of things) were handled smoothly. You have the ability to keep track of the status of your sale through an online facility that shows viewings scheduled etc, which is also handy. Highly recommended!

Your home is generally the most valuable asset you own. When it comes to selling this asset it's understandable you would want to maximise it's value. Experience is essential in reaching the right sale price however presentation is key. Caledonia provide both in abundance. Non-transparent tenant screening! Forget about first come first serve basis cliché especially if you are not a native or coming from a different background.Avoid and do not waste your time to view any flat from this agency. The way how they screening the potential tenants is absolutely non-transparent and unfair. No matter even if you have a permanent, full time job, good character references, high credit score or if you are a non smoker or not a pet owner.Due to a job change I need to relocate Dumbarton area and yesterday I booked a viewing for a 1 bedroom house that they advertised on Rightmove as I created an alert as soon as I received the notification I sent them a request of a viewing and accordingly the branch manager scheduled a viewing for me by adding me to very end of the waiting list even thought I sent my request in very early stage. Anyway, after having viewed the house, I expressed my strong interest to proceed my application for the next stage by getting in touch both email & over the phone. However after having a 2 minutes chat with her, my application has been refused straight away and I was informed by an email right after our conversation, and of course to she did not sate any rational reason on her email, all she said is that the house has been reserved for someone else. The only thing she said to cover the situation, there are 3 more people who is interested in the same property so based on what you have decided not to consider me a tenant? In conclusion, if you do not want to encounter the same experience or unfair treatment please just do not bother to write or call this ignorant as the branch manager is low profile, quite illiterate and very judgemental so she has no clue to see who is who. On top, she gave me an impression that actually she has no written criteria or rules to allow you to rent a property from her. If she wants to eliminate you, she will. It is because:a) You are not her favourite pal.b) You have a foreign name & accentc) She has a deal with someone else so you can find yourself at the end of the queue.Last word, for Hayley you even did not bother to create a tenant profile for me to put forward to landlord and you admitted it on phone. And Craig you are a gentlemen, thank you for helping me during my visit at 9 Hawthorn Way.

I would highly recommend Caledonia Bureau, Dumbarton. My first contact was Gemma and Emma at the office. Both are so friendly, efficient and helpful. Also the inimitable Malcolm Button made the experience of selling our flat such a friendly one. He was so willing to chat things through and give his time. Overall the staff made the whole process very smooth and not a worry. I really would highly recommend.

I have used Caledonia bureau (now Caledonia property) over many years both for selling and buying houses/flats and renting them out. I would not trust anyone else to manage my property affairs. The service given by the whole team at Caledonia property is first class and second to none. They are ultra reliable and go the extra mile for you. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
