This is the second time I've stayed at Craigdarroch Hotel for work and it definitely won't be the last. I arrived in the evening after a long drive to a personalised welcome which was lovely. The hotel was very quiet as it was off season and midweek, so I really appreciated the efforts of everyone in the team to make me feel very comfortable and looked after. The food is unbelievable, I had a two course dinner and a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning looking out onto stunning views of Loch Ness. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and the beds are some of the best hotel beds I've ever slept in! I travel quite a bit and I have to say this is one of my favourite hotels to stay at. I'll most definitely be back soon. Thank you all.

What a great hotel, the view is fantastic, authentic rooms with luxurious bathroom, tea and coffee in the room and the hostess is a great friendly hospitable nothing is too much and the food is fantastic, I will definitely come back here, the only downside is the house pheasant refuses to sit still for a photo, made me run outside three times ????? Annet and RobertRooms: Nice spacious roomsNearby activities: Castles, mountains, everything is thereFood & drinks: Top chef, delicious breakfast, dinner was great both eveningsNoteworthy details: Very hospitable hotel, the hostess is great

Endured spending £85pp for Hogmanay dinner, which turned out to be a self service cold (even though it left the kitchen hot) affair, lovely venue, badly let down by the proprietors, extremely disappointed, avoid like the plague.
The hotel was lovely and the views were amazing. The price was extremely over priced. We paid for the new year package but had to pay for the first evening meal. We ordered cottage pie. We got a small portion with a piece of garlic bread. No vegetables at all. This was 19 pound. The new year meal wasnt hot and there was no atmosphere or fireworks. Very disappointed as thats why we wanted to go up to Scotland as they know usually how to party.Breakfast we was told would be 830. We wanted to set off home early as we had a 8 hour drive. To be told it would be 9 as they got up late. Finally my son doesnt drink tea or coffee which was in with breakfast so he wanted hot chocolate they charged 4.50 extra. Just a rip off whem we had paid over 600 pound per couple. Will not be coming here again. One final thing we had paid a deposit of 350 but the bad weather was worrying us that was on the news on the A9, i asked if we couldnt get there could we have a refund as the weather is out of our control they said no. I have never heard anything like this again just greed..We werent the only ones a couple had come up from the caravan site for the party and had paid for hogmany 170 pound they were so disappointed they left really early. There sister was coming to stay but couldnt because of the weather and was a refused a refund. Avoid just after ripping you off. Also looking at the other reviews that wasnt the food that was served for hogmany and there was no other families there only the owners so read into that what you want

Attended the new year evening with my family . A Buffett was provided as all you can eat , the food was very high quality the service was great , very welcoming and attentive.Further snacks were provided again at 10:30pm which were excellent. (little fish and chips !) a great selection of scotch whiskies were available, of which I did partake ?The singer providing the entertainment was great had the banter and the voice. It was a small gathering for sure but the establishment provided a great New Year?s Eve for us! Thank you!Walkability: The local lodges are around 5 mins walk awayFood & drinks: Great selection of regional whiskies

Beautiful Hotel with a view of Loch Ness. Excellent food, top chef and location of the Hotel. We will definitely come again...Rooms: Beautiful design and style, luxurious beds and services.Nearby activities: Loch Ness activities, walks, hikes, boat trips.Walkability: Directly from the main road or from Loch Ness. The hotel is on a hill with beautiful gardens and a view.Food & drinks: The fantastic tastes of the chef and at the same time the owner of the hotel, simply top. English cuisine prepared in such a way that even if you have never liked it, you will fall in love with it.

We wanted to visit Scotland in all its splendor, far from all these tourist sites in peace and with nature... The location is absolutely magnificent, nestled in the forest and on the edge of Loch Ness a magnificent view I do not regret we are immediately put into the bath with a small Scottish carpet, Chesterfields on the edge of a window... Worthy of the greatest detective novels of the United Kingdom! I adore ! The only downside was that my bed was a little too small; I had to sleep sideways to keep my feet warm! Thank you very much to our hosts and the quality service! See you next time !

Just eaten here. Food was superb. Soup amazing. My wife's risotto was one of her very best (her words). My fish was chunky and cooked to perfection. The crumble dessert was absolutely gorgeous. Also a special mention to front of house who was so accommodating after our young dog was very vocal with another dog, she moved us, so we were out of the way and our dog could relax under the table out of sight of the other dog. Thank you. We hope to be back one day.

Didn't stay so cannot comment on rooms. Visited for Sunday lunch and fantastic food and service. They were exceptionally accommodating for me as a reduced diet and restriction of food. Allowed me an empty plate to have food from my husband and son as I wouldn't be able to eat a full meal. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was very good. When we come back to loch ness we will definitely eat here again. Totally recommend.Food & drinks: Very accommodating for dietary requirements

We didn't stay here so can't offer reviews on the accommodation but the views are fantastic, the food is amazing and the staff are so lovely. You need to book a table for food, especially in the summer. Great tables outside if you just fancy a drink with the stunning views.Extra plus points, they are dog friendly and we're very accommodating to our 6 month puppy
