We?ve been looking forward to returning to this cafe ever since it reopened. It was a regular stop off on our way to holidays on the West. We were very disappointed with the food and quality of service and will never return. I ordered Gluten Free French Toast without bacon as I?m vegetarian. It arrived with bacon and no offer to replace the meal. My husband ordered Eggs Benedict with pulled pork. The pork was tasteless and cold, and the sour dough wasn?t fresh. I struggled to eat mine as it tasted of bacon fat and the gf bread was worse than awful so most of it got left. I was charged full price on departure. The male staff in the cafe were ignorant, unapologetic and unfriendly. Never again. Such a shame.

Very good food and friendly service. Very happy again. We had full meat breakfast and a toastie.
Both dogs were welcome inside too. Not only did they get water right away, but they even got some chicken to say goodbye. That was so sweet :-)

Great vegan breakfast, although a little overpriced perhaps and toilets could have been cleaner

A great spot to hit before or after a visit to Urquhart Castle, or if just out for a drive along the west bank of Loch Ness. Great toasties and a friendly, welcoming staff. Loved it!

Traveling along Loch Ness today, my daughter and I stumbled across the lively Cafe 82. Their take on floral tea is brilliant (see photo)! Amazing food! Especially, the potato salad. My ham and cheese toastie with brie and their homemade chili jam was simply amazing was one of (if not the) best food item I?ve eaten in Scotland thus far. Also features ample parking, very fair pricing and a quaint, cozy atmosphere. And despite being full of customers, very attentive service. We could not have been any happier with our experience. if you find yourself in Scotland, traveling southbound on A82, and you happen to be passing through a village called ?Lewiston?, you?d have to be daft not to eat at Café 82!

Warm hospitality, an excellent range of teas and coffees and the largest, tastiest, toasted sandwich I ever ate. Highly commended.
Parking: Maybe 20 spots
Kid-friendliness: Many families with children were eating when we visited.

We had brunch and a late breakfast, both dishes were excellent, very tasty and cooked to order. A request to change to a quieter table was attended to swiftly and without fuss.

Such a cozy and lovely place. Food is very well done and the owner is extremely friendly and makes you feel so much at home. Recommended.

Extremely overpriced and it seems like they don?t have enough ingredients to serve the dishes advertised on the menu.
The menu is not the same advertised online and is a much smaller paper menu. We bought a toastie which is allegedly served with a side. It was over £10. They didn?t have the sourdough so instead made the sandwich with white bread. Okay, but the advertised side was actually two very thin slices of a semi-cooked new potato. Not a side at all!
The wait is very long- 40 minutes for two small sandwiches and people who arrived and ordered after us (who ordered cooked breakfasts) were served before us.
They have a good location being close to Loch Ness but I wonder if all of the reviews are actually because they offer a free slice of cake in exchange for a Google review?

Appalling for the price. £14 for a breakfast, items missing off without any explanation?
1 sausage, 1 piece of bacon, an egg, half a slice of toast? and about five beans. Asked for another slice of toast and got charged £1.50 for the other half of the slice..
-They are offering free cake for a good review on Google so don?t trust these reviews.
