Lovely location in the garden, it was very pleasant sitting outside as it was a warm, sunny day.
There is a selection of vegetarian options on the menu. We chose the brie and red onion chutney sandwich, which had a huge amount of brie in it and was very tasty.
There was a good choice of cakes and desserts, so much so that it was hard to decide what to have. We went for the lemon meringue biscuit and the millionaires shortbread. Both were delicious.
Service was very good and the food is tasty, well presented and reasonably priced.

.. this cafe was bright, airy, clean and welcoming. Plenty of staff on to clear the tables and our coffees were fine. The cakes looked very tempting though their prices were not advertised.

Both morning tea & excellent lunch. Cheerful service & good food. Not too busy and fellow diners were of a similar bent as ourselves.

Lovely little bistro on site in the botanic gardens. Wasn?t too busy when we visited so they were able to accommdate the 9 of us quite easily. The menu was varied without being too vast and they also accommdated a couple of off menu requests too. A little one the pricey side perhaps but everything clearly freshly made and the staff were friendly with service prompt with no issues.

As part of Logan Garden called in for lunch, and the first thing noted was the first cup of decent coffee in Galloway. So many cafes do weak or very milky coffee's, don't think any of them know what a flat white is. That was not the case here, proper Italian coffee, strong and hot. We had the haggis and cheese pannini which was crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. One of us had the soup and she said it was really good. After walking round the gardens, we went back in. I tried the peanut and chocolate cake and it was very nice, not to nutty but not to chocolatie. The bourbon chocolate cake was a chocolate lovers dream. The staff were extremely friendly and we would recomend the bistro even if gardens are not your thing.
