Small post funeral buffet here. Very nice place, not too big and ideal for our needs. Can't fault any of the staff or service on the day or when booking prior to that. Only very tiny point I could make is that there was too much mayo on the sandwiches....but probably a matter of personal taste as much as anything. Certainly thinking of going back sometime for a proper meal.

Have dinner here quite regular with with family. Always amazing, great portion sizes and great quality food. The Cajun chicken is to die for! Recently tried the burgers for a change on their Tuesday deal. I got the chicken burger which hot honey which was also amazing! Highly recommend the Brae. Always great atmosphere with lovely staff x

Food tasty & hot. Only downside was the place itself. It was really really cold. Could not stay for long.

We went on the Sunday after the big storm, and there were 5 adults and 2 children, one 5 and the other was 10 months.
It wasn't their usual menu, but it was still good, and the kids' menu was ok.
The waitress was helpful when asked about the menu.
It worth going.

The service provided by the staff on a Sunday evening was excellent. The food was well-presented, piping hot, and served in ideal portion sizes.
There was minimal time wasted between courses, and at no point did the staff hover over tables to rush us. Instead, the table was cleared efficiently and at appropriate time.
I highly recommend The Brae.

Went here last night with family and friends, eight of us altogether for my son's twenty first
Staff and service was good and I appreciated them bringing his cake out at the end of the meal
My son had ordered a burger with bacon and received the bun with burnt burger with cheese ( which he doesn't like ) and no bacon with the bun saturated in horrible sauce and some fries which is the only thing he managed to eat
His girlfriend had steak pie which had minimum gravy in it and was inedible and was left
I said to Derek who apologised but did not offer to replace any of the two meals
Birthday meal ruined which cost me just under £300
Definitely not recommended, take my advise and stay away

Visited The Brae Christmas Eve at 1pm with my husband daughter and granddaughter I was pleasantly surprised with their Xmas Menu I am dairy intolerant and have visited many restaurants in Glasgow who could not offer me anything other than a Vegan option The Brae offered me so much to choose from and being Christmas I went for the Turkey dinner which was excellent a very good portion and everything was cooked to perfection I will definitely recommend The Brae to family and friends

Went there with a party of eight for my son's 21st
He ordered the burger with bacon and without cheese , it came with a burnt burger with cheese with no bacon and the bun was saturated in in a horrible salsa type sauce with fries
He managed to eat the fries and the rest was left
His girlfriend had the steak pie, it came with very little to no gravy and microwave mash potatoes , both were inedable and was left
Others in the party had tempura which was full of grease and three of us had haggis bon bons which needed a hammer and chisel to open them as they were rock solid
It was a disastrous meal all round which was ment to be a special meal for a special birthday
I did say to Derek who was serving and he said he welcomed feedback but did nothing to make it right
After paying nearly £300 and leaving a generous tip I feel that The Brae massively let us down on the night and we left wtha bitter taste in our mouths
I certainly wont be recommending this place and we definitely won't be back, would have been better with a chippy tea or a mcdonalds
