Just back from a long weekend at the park. Great time had by all in our group. Caravans were very clean, well equipped and comfortable. all staff were very helpful at all times .the entire site was well kept and very presentable. Location next to beach made for a very relaxing break with the small town of Sornoch merely a few minutes away . Thoroughly recommend this park for a holiday

Loved our stay at Grannies. Been here few times now and would highly recommend. Caravans are spotless, entertainment and restaurant great too. Nothing too much trouble for staff especially Fraser the Manager. We'll done to all. See you soon

Location great, management and staff amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed stay here the entertainment was amazing and caravans were well kept and clean. Been to a few parkdeans and this one was the best. Will be back

We had the loveliest caravan which was extremely clean and well equipped. Every single member of staff that we came across were so friendly and helpful. It really made our trip. We had awesome weather when we there and was made even better as there is a lovely beach so we managed to go in swimming. We ate in the restaurant one evening and found the food to be very good. We also had breakfast one morning and it was a bargain. I would definitely recommend this holiday park to anyone who wishes to be in this area as it just seemed so peaceful in a beautiful setting but actually it does have so much going on too.

Lovely place with very accessible beach , lovely walks , dog friendly , very very clean , lovely swing park could do with more activities for kids , meals in the coast (restaurant ) lovely beautifully cooked staff excellent nothings bit of bother

Second year in a row staying here and did not disappoint. We stayed in the 'pentland' caravan this year which was nice and clean and plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 children. Although we go out of 'peak time' there is still loads to do and booked activities with the kids including swimming. There is a fish and chip shop which was very good and huge portions, was a lovely treat after a day on the beach. The beach is beautiful year round regardless of the weather. There is a convenience store near the main building which had plenty of necessities and more (including kites which were great fun). Already looking at going again next April.

Where to start! We visited Grannies Heilan Hame in July this year and boy it didn?t disappoint! We were given Seafront 15 and the views were spectacular, we went into the restaurant and I had the fish and chips more like whale and chips it was huge but delicious. Entertainment was great and kept the kids busy..lifesavers We now possibly looking at buying, love it definitely be back

We have stayed a number of times now and this visit did not disappoint either. We decided to take a last minute 4 night break before the kids (5, 8 and 12) went back to school and although we had great weather, the caravan and park are still one of the best places to stay. Having a sea view caravan is great with easy and quick access to the beach. It all feels very safe and sometimes the kids went down themselves as long as they stayed in eye-shot of the caravan and we watched them from the veranda. The caravan itself was just as expected - yes, it isn't massively modern and all a bit beige/brown but we honestly don't care. It is clean, safe and pretty much what we need for the time we use it. Some great beaches, sunsets and sunrises, loads of places to visit within a short distance and lots of facilities on site. I think the way to enjoy this place is to have set your expectations accordingly and just go with it. The only real downside for us is the onsite restaurant. We have eaten there before and it was OK but now that the prices have increased (as everything has), it doesn't feel like very good value for money at all. The app is confusing and we had no idea our drinks were sitting on the bar until a good 10 minutes later. The food was average and relatively small/medium portions. We didn't stick around for dessert. It wouldn't put us off going back again. Caravan holidays are the ones the kids speak about the most...!

We had a 3 night stay in one of the Caravans in Fairways Crescent. The caravan was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We didn?t use the Recreation facilities much, as we prefer the beach to walk on. Grannies has great access to the beach and it?s a nice walk into Dornoch where you can get food or supplies. The bar restaurant has a nice outdoor area where we could sit with the dog and have a drink in the evening sun. The staff were a bit rushed and under-staffed at times, as it was early season, but it wasn?t a problem. We still got good service. All in all, I?d highly recommend the park if you want a stay somewhere different. It may look to be remote, but it provides access to the whole north of Scotland!

Went to the Aqua Paddle in the pool on site. Was great fun, kids loved it and the staff, especially Sarah, were fantastic with the kids and the grownups. They helped with instructions and made sure we had a great time.

Entertainment was incredible! Matthew, Lauren and Rowan were brilliant. Nothing was too much, they spent so much time talking to kids and making sure they had the best time. We loved milkshake mornings and the evenings. Accommodation was spotless and the cleaners came to check everything was okay after we?d checked in. The bar team were lovely, Matt and Kieran were great. The beach was beautiful and we got to see the dolphins. We?re definitely coming back next year

I was a little apprehensive at some of the negative reviews Grannies had received but so glad I ignored them. From check in with the helpful reception staff and a surprise appearance from 'Sparkey' hmself, to check out we had a fantastic time. We could not fault the attentive staff in the Coast bar nor the reasonably priced food. We had a caravan just off the beach with a lovely decked area. The caravan wasn't brand new but it was immaculate and well maintained. The park itself was beautifully kept and the beach was amazing. Just a few miles drive is Dornoch with both boutique and high street shops, resteraunts if you fancy an evening away from the park and beautiful golf courses, sandy beaches and wooded walks. I really couldn't have hoped fir a better experience. Can't wait to return next year.

Arrived on Friday and our first impressions were great! As we walked into reception, there was loads of friendly staff giving advise on what to do and they booked us into the activities there and then. The receptionists were lovely and made our check in so easy. Our caravan was spotless. There is entertainment which is different every night. The entertainment team were great! We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the coast bar. The service was excellent. The site is kept well maintained by their maintenance team. Everyone makes you feel so welcomed. We are already planning our next stay and cant wait to return!

Previously just returned from Grannies and had a blast.. the kids absolutely loved the arcade, entertainment and the long stretch of beach they could play on. We had a seaview caravan which the view was absolutely spectacular ? the accommodation was so clean and best caravan we?ve stayed at compared to the other parkdean sites, you can really tell all staff members try so hard to make sure all guests have a fabulous time. The touring pitch was very busy with camper vans, tents etc which is good, more brave than i am to camp lol!! ? Site is very well maintained and always see the maintenance team buzzing about in there vans, reception staff very friendly on arrival.. best holiday yet and definitely will be back!! thank you Grannies?

Another amazing trip to Grannies Healan Hame, caravan (Seaview 53) was amazing, clean, had all facilities needed and the view was outstanding! A huge massive thank you to Jamie on the bar, you made everything run like clockwork but our biggest shout out has to go to Lauren and Rowan in the entertainment team, you work harder than anyone else and your contribution didn?t go unnoticed, thank you for making our holiday so fun! Can?t wait to hear where you are next season because if we know, that?s where we?ll be!! You ladies 100% made our holiday! Thank you!
