What a great pub, I went in with my friend from Japan, she wanted to see the mural of sir Alexander Fleming and the staff were amazing ?? sat in the garden and we had a great time ?

?I popped in here whilst walking home from a friend's house.I was alone, it was cold and I had a 3-mile walk ahead.I had a rough night, it was the weekend and I was lured by the sound of live music.?I've never been, despite being local, as I?m not a drinker.? Despite my attire and how late it was I was warmly welcomed by the crowd and the staff.?The service was friendly and super reasonably priced.? It has a large capacity and a great crowd of customers present.? There was a quieter area round the back, but I found myself in the buzzing area where a live band were just packing up??The entire ambience of the place assured me that I wanted to return - and that is praise indeed.?Wheelchair accessibility: I think it would be simple enough as it all appeared to be on the ground floor.

Not a pub I visit often however always a relaxed & homely atmosphere when in. Prices are reasonable & got guiness on tap which is reletevly rare in the valley these days! Often have music on & while I've not been in when the band's been on I've only heard good things about it!?
