Fantastic lunch today with staff a d children as a family time whete the chefs made food which the Kirkmichael Primary School grew in their fantastic polytunnel.
Service was well organised and such patience as small children made choices. Quality and surroundings spotless and a lovely atmosphere.

What a gastronomic surprise! Try the venison impenadas and be blown away by the tempering of the succulent meat with roasted almonds and garlic!! Oh dear!!! The turbot is cooked to perfection in a subtle yet multilayered langoustine reduction. The sirloin steak showed off the 35 day maturity with aplomb by it's tender, delicious flavours. All accompanied by handcut fries and a juicy orgasmic red wine!!

Simply wonderful! On our first trip to Ayrshire, this is by far the best dining experience we had. The fish was cooked to perfection, the service was kind and helpful, and the ambience was ideal. Highly recommended. We will come again when next in the area.

A remarkable quality which could be the best in Ayrshire given the value and presentation. The reputation of this place will only grow and grow. Look forward to going back to try the Maidens lobster.

One of the best meals and outings I've had in year's, staff were delightful and the food was ao beyond what you you'd expect from a country pub, make a day of it because it's an excellent experience. The bar is tiny the locals are larger and welcoming the whole thing is what keeps communities alive.

It was a fantastic experience all around. The food is simply superb, and I would happily visit again to sample any of the dishes on the menu. High lights certainly being the liguistine prawn toast and the date pudding.
Service was flawless with a friendly manner, appropriate timing, and good knowledge of the menu.
We dined in the pub side, a dog friendly area. A very friendly atmosphere, snug but not cramped considering the limited space available.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough if you are passing by.

We were recently at cameron house two week ago and Kirkmichael arms on Saturday night the food,quality, presentation and staff put cameron house to shame we'll done Kirkmichael arms.
