Popped in for breakfast and coffee which was excellent. Staff were great.
Decent prices, lots of cocktails on offer at £9 and, mocktails at around £5. Plenty car park spaces. Disabled entrance.

Read some disappointing reviews since new ownership so went along to check it out. Ordered coffee and scones with butter and jam. The coffee was excellent ??but wish I had taken a photo of the scone ? which was small and looked shop bought, at least it was warmed, but no butter ????, a little plastic wrapped portion of sunflower spread and another of jam. Disappointing. I wont be rushing back ?

Went to Louie Brown's on Sunday as my daughter had planned a surprise retiral meal for me with all of my family.
The atmosphere was fab. We were attended to superbly by Pauline. Nothing was too much trouble.
Only one of our party was a bit disappointed as the steak in her steak pie was quite fatty. Apart from that everything was perfect.
Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Went for dinner with my husband and a catch up with family.
Food was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the Korean tacos. The pork belly was perfectly cooked.
Service attentive without being pushy.
Only issue was a default of adding a voluntary 10% service charge onto the bill. I suspect people are less likely to ask for it to be removed when it's on.

Can't say enough about the service, food, and just go above and beyond

I had the cajun chicken ciabatta. Came with overcooked skinny skin on fries. And a dry bed of lettuce leaves with half a cherry tomato and a slice of cucumber. Ciabatta was stale. There was coleslaw on it as well as crispy onions and some lettuce. Coleslaw would have been better separate to accompany the salad. My friend had an undercooked cheese and ham toastie with same dry salad and chips.
I will give the server credit in that she offered to change things, but we just paid the bill and left.
Bill including a ginger beer and lime, and soda water and lime (which was still too strong even after more soda water had been added) was £25.60. Not unreasonable but we won't be back.

Really nice place. We only had coffee and hot chocolate, which was amazing in the vegan version. Only negative is that the floor was very sticky. Clean this up and we will do 5 stars.

I got the pasta a cocktail and it deserved so it cost me £38 (which included the 10% service fee). So delicious ? If you're there so low or just with a friend and want it to be casual, you can sit at the borrow or if you have a large group you can go to their website and make a reservation.

Great place with fantastic service. They were happy to have us just as the kitchen was closing without any qualms on a busy Friday. Love the new menu and the food is great. Although, the portion size for the Chicken AlaKeiv was quite small, especially when compared to the chicken pasta that my wife ordered. Great experience overall and will surely be coming back.
Edit: Went back after a few days and my dad got the Chicken Kiev and got a generous portion. So my experience could?ve been just a one off.

I expected a restaurant, but instead it felt to me more like a large pub that serves food. So, expect large crowds of locals standing next to your table with a pint loudly discussing football and local events. Escpecially if you are close to the bar area in the middle. The table next to a window might give you a bit more privacy, yet, overall it is very noisy inside, so very little chance to have a conversation while you're dining.
The food is pub-like, so do not expect anything exceptional and go for something casual and that noone can ruin.
The service was allright, but we still needed to check up on a couple of things occassionally, and also needed to ask to remove a drum of an expensive whisky that none of us had from the final check.
See no reasons so far for me to come back or to recommend to someone.
