Just don't waste your money. Its not worth it. I can eat 2 out of 5 dishes. Even Fried rice was bad. Staff lovely and friendly, its a shame that food was horrific

We visited 18 July 2025 with our wee dog and the staff couldn't do enough to help. We had the set meal for 2 and we couldn't eat it all. Very very impressed with the amount of food for the price. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Staff really friendly had special curry asked for it extra hot chef did a good job ..king prawns lovely I highly recommend..working up there i go at least twice a week

My partner was sick in the night after our takeaway.
Absolutely avoid.
Pretty bland bad tasting food.
The spring rolls had some kind of very soggy minced meat inside them, the egg fried rice was also soggy, black beans veg didn't taste of black bean, or anything really very very bland and greasy soggy food.
Inside the waiting area looks quite rough with a big old dirty looking chest freezer serving as a counter.
I ordered without seeing but if we had walked in to order we would've walked straight back out.

Amazing place to grab takeout. We came up from Birmingham and have treated ourselves, and we couldn't be happier with our order. You can call to order or just pop in. There is a cashpoint outside coop if needed. Had a lovely conversation with a gentleman. We will be returning on our next holiday. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Had a meal from here last night, Staff were amazing, made a meal for me that wasn't even on the menu, salt and pepper meat selection, and I loved it, so much so my wife was very jealous and we will be going back tonight for the same meal. Would highly recommend!

The Sea Horse is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Dumfries&Galloway, for the variety of this dish, for the fresh ingredients and not using process food and gravy. Very friendly hosts.
