The staff were nice but the room was dirty and a little run down and there seemed to be some kind of liquid stains down all the walls? All the floorboards creaked terribly along with the bed which was quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was very limited and the fresh orange juice had fermented ?

Had my birthday meal here in the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. 10 of us booked and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive . Would 100% recommend this lovely hotel /restaurant

Spent an amazing overnight in this hotel .. staff were so attentive without the intrusion, decor within the hotel is stunning, not what I expected from the outside, they also have a cozy beer garden looking over a river, view is stunning, we had food in the hotel, well what a potion, size was huge, very well presented and tasted delicious .. room clean, and comfy? Breakfast full English was great, plenty of choice.. if we back in Dalbeattie this is where I?ll defo stay .. thank you ..

Not too bad a room no serving staff at breakfast food barely warm evening meal plentiful. The decoration not finished and we're not told about it

Stayed stayed 5 nights with my dog while my wife was in Dumfries hospital very welcoming staff brilliant rooms were spotless . They serve a great cooked breakfast & serve food all day till 8pm .
Would definitely recommend &. Very reasonably priced
