Wee store with a cafe attached... Great food and crafty things to buy... just don't turn up in a rush dxpecting lightening service... the volunteers that run it do the very best that they can do.

Friendly little shop and cafe. Exactly as you'd expect in a lovely little village like Barr.

What a lovely little shop and café in the village of Barr. Indoor and outdoor seating. Freshly made cakes and scones, with superb coffee. An ideal stop for us cyclists when peddling around the Ayrshire Alps (and a great place to stop even if you're not cycling!) Chapeau to the staff and the community for such a valuable asset in the village.

I called in to grab a coffee when I was out cycling in the snow, freezing cold. Unfortunately the card machine was not working, so I couldn?t purchase anything. The lady behind the counter was kind enough to fill my water bottle with hot water, which helped me warm up and continue my cycle to Ayr.Thank you!! But a coffee would have been nice and I would have come back later with cash.

After a recent visit and long journey to get here, I thought I would call in for a hot roll and coffeeThe coffee was fine, but the roll n bacon was ruined by the use of cheap margarine, I should have been given the option! If no butter available I would have had bacon on a dry roll. It was vile, couldn't eat it but was still charge £3-60I also asked to use toilet for journey back to Glasgow, but couldn't as it was backed up? She said? I was directed to another community hall instead. That was shut! Great pity as the Village and surrounding area was really lovely.

We stayed in the village close to the store, it came in very handy when needed a few bits. The children bought there sweets there. It was great to see such great community spirit.
