My first time at the Riccarton inn for lunch, and it certainly won't be my last. An excellent lunch, steak pie, good wine and great service. Well done, keep up the good work.

Have stayed at The Riccarton Inn the last 3 years before early morning flight. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is delicious. Would highly recommend

Came here for a quick dinner while on a business trip. Although it was very busy, I got a table without having to wait. Everyone was friendly and helpful. After dinner, I relocated to the bar and met a few friendly regulars, which was welcome with me being out on my own. I had a Highland Burger which was perfectly on point and super tasty. Given the chance, I would go again.

Really enjoyed our recent visit and evening bar meal at the Riccarton. Service was friendly and prompt. Very good selection of local ales and the soup was particularly good, although perhaps the bread choice could be developed. Everything was cleanly presented and portion sizes were well judged. We stayed here two nights. The location was perfect for us. The bus to Edinburgh city center runs directly in front of the door. The airport is just under 20 minutes away by car. Our room was simple and functional. You can eat well in the pub. A nice breakfast coffee shop is very close by.
Rooms: Simple and clean with a kettle and coffee machine.
Walkability: Bus stop right in front of the door, restaurant in the house, breakfast coffee and supermarket, gas station a few minutes walk.

Excellent food. One of the best stops we made on our trip. It has free parking.
