“Last week we were saying goodbye to a much loved second home.. It was fully furnished and we were giving most of it to The Castle Furniture Project. So much could have gone wrong as we were on a tight time schedule and very aware that some of the furniture was bulky, heavy and as I thought, difficult to manoeuvre. To complicate matters access was through a narrow Pend where house martins were also feeding their young.I need not have worried. Lisa, Connor and Phil were amazing. They are true professionals as well as lovely people, who know exactly what they are doing.The furniture including a heavy sofa bed and a large wardrobe were removed efficiently, and without a single mishap. The house martins remained safe and continued to feed.To anyone considering donating to this very worthwhile charity , I would say do go ahead.
