We went to The Outer Hebrides in September and it was a really well organised and varied experience. We had an outstanding tour guide/manager and coach driver to make the entire trip seamless. Lovely visits and lots of useful information and choices. An unforgettable holiday

We were on the Tour of the Outer Hebrides. We had a great experience, in no small part due to the excellence of the tour manager and driver.

Your coach drivers should be aware that it is an offence to block the overtaking lane of a motorway 3 miles period to the lane closure.

An otherwise excellent archaeological tour spoilt by three sleepless nights at the Kirkwall Hotel.

Had to cancel on day of travel due to husband having Covid, Brightwater basically saying tough, considering they had cancelled twice before due to covid and we were happy to reschedule to help the travel industry rather than ask for a refund we thought we could at least be offered vouchers towards another tour, poor customer service. I would like to thank their employee Jenny for her help. Won't be travelling with them again.

I have just been on the scenic tour of the islands and highlands of Scotland of May 16th 2022.One of the most disorganised and expensive holidays I have ever been on. The guide was just about the worst I have ever experienced. First hotel with no lift and no help with luggage up 20 stairs and no hot water for almost the whole time we were there. Ridiculously shortened excursions. In all a total waste of a lot of money and time.Very sad as some of the parts of Scotland were very beautiful ..

1st class price for 3rd class tour - lowest prices for visits chosen - as an example when is a 30 minute boat ride considered a cruise??? I would advise that potential bookers consider careully

I have just returned from a wonderful few days in the north west of Scotland, beautiful scenery and very lucky with the weather.Unfortunately it was let down by the hotel, although the staff were very friendly the rooms were very dated with lights that didn't work a shower that jumped from hot to cold all the time and when we tried a bath instead the plug wouldn't come out!A hotel near ullapool would be a better choice.

our tour guide was very knowledgeable but once we left the coach we never saw her again on all four days. Set menu was shocking and so was the service Far to slow and at breakfast we had to ask for English breakfast tea , yogurts refill bacon refill fruit salad and platesFor single and elderly to have no other restaurants nearby is not feasible to have to have a taxi costing ?10Nice woodland setting

North Costa Rica February 2022.\\nAmazing trip in everyway !\\nA country with beautiful fauna and flora , friendly people with a large diversity from low lands to mountains, an advanced ecosystem and even a tolerable heat due to a breeze from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Not forgetting our great and knowledgeable guides Julia and Margharita.\\nThank you Brightwater for a memorable time . \\\" Pura Vida \\\"

I was recommended the 3 day Falkirk Wheel, Steam Train Journey and Castle visit for 20th September 2021. As I was late booking they took full payment in July. I was really looking forward to the trip when they notified me in August that they had to make changes and if I did not agree I could cancel. I immediately cancelled as the changes were unacceptable. I heard nothing back from the representative so chased a few days later to get her out of office away for about 3 weeks. I contacted the alternative given in the email and got a positive response, not ideal but at least a response. They said they would raise a credit note and allow me to the end of September to transfer to another holiday. If I didn't do that by 30/9/21 I would automatically get refunded although it could take a maximum of 28 days after 30/9 because they had a lot of refunds to issue. I certainly wasn't happy but awaited the refund and when not received by 28th Oct chased it up. After a second chase I was informed that it was being processed and would be issued the following Tuesday and the agent would chase on Monday and inform me where it was. No response so I chased Tuesday and was told that again the agent would chase accounts. Still awaiting a response Wednesday. This is pretty shoddy treatment of customers. It would appear that they are using current customers refunds to assist their Covid refunds. What makes it worse is that my refund is due to their own inefficient arrangements. I could not recommend this company at all and still looking forward to my refund. Guess other options need pursuing.

Two of your tour busses used the A814 from Garelochhead to Arrochar on 24th July 2021. This route is not suitable for large vehicles and your drivers should not have taken the huge coaches that way. There are clear signs at both ends of the road indicating it is not suitable for HGV's. Our car had to go off into the soft verge to allow your coaches to pass. Please amend your routes to avoid this road in future.

We've just been on a Scottish steam break , which was magical, we stopped for fish and chips and it was some of the tastiest we've ever eaten, we went on to the waverly steam boat, again amazing, we then visited the only rotating boat lift in the world, the Falkirk wheel totally amazing engineering and so quite we hardly knew we were moving, we had a sail on the Rob Roy 111, Our guide Alisdair and our bus driver Charles made our holiday all more better, they showed us soo many lochs and mountains I loose count, I never realised just how beautiful Scotland is. We've already decided Scotland is where we want to visit next year.
