Tried to phone to order prescription but seems you can only order during opening hours. What's the point of having an automated prescription line if you don't have the option to leave details.

Phoned up for my repeat prescription and was told it will take a week before I can get it from the chemist, 2 weeks later and the chemist still hasn't received my prescription details from the surgery, if they can't do the job go somewhere else

I do not understand why people run down this surgery,have been in there today and the service I received was first class, I had 2 steroid injections in my knees as I have 2 wait another year to get them operated on not the fault of the surgery,my greatfull thanks to Dr Dunlop,Nicola the ANP,Jane the practice manager,and not forgetting Susanne and Sheena on the desk,people should remember how difficult and busy there job can be,so be patient all will be sorted

I?ve given them 2 stars because the service from the actual GP themselves has been good, prompt and quite thorough. Unfortunately it?s the main usage of medication ordering that has brought the rating way down. I suffered from an AVM which left a few issues amongst other health problems, one of these being very poor memory. All of my meds are due at same time as s result so that I don?t need to remember all different dates to order meds. I?ve ordered meds on a few occasions now where some have been rejected whilst others accepted? What? Why? Granted I was 1 week early on latest occasion due to going on holiday and won?t be there to order on time, rejecting some now is only going to create meds now due on different dates which I was aiming to avoid. I have been informed during a rant to a friend that?s it?s actually receptionist who processes prescription?s and GP just signs them. What school do these jumped up phone answerers go to to have the power to accept or reject peoples important meds? Im so angry. I thought health service was designed to try and minimise folks problems and health issues not contribute to them.

Told to call to confirm a prescription is there so I can have someone collect on my behalf due to work commitments. Tried calling over 5 days, no answer.Yesterday over a period of 7 hours I called 158 times, each ringing out.So if I am to call... how do you presume I manage that?Not to mention the physio treatment waiting list I've apparently been on for 3 years after a car accident, surely we must be working through that list by now?Not angry, just disappointed.

I don't have anything to complain about the staff but the rota system leaves a lot to be desired. I find it impossible to follow and I'm not alone in this. For example, today asked for a follow-up appointment with a specific doctor for my wife and was told that none was available and didn't know when the new rota would be out. I wanted a follow up appointment with a APN and was told the same thing.Another instance was when I asked for an appointment for a specific doctor to be told that the rota was full but my sister managed to get one for same doctor before the end of that week.Another time trying for an appointment I was told that the rota was full but the new one was due the next day. I phoned the next morning at around 8.30am and it wasn't out. I asked what time it would be out at 2pm so I called back just after 2pm to be told that the rota was full.I could go on but I think trhat gives an idea i

This has been by far the worst practice I've been to. They are terrible at answering phones that are meant to be on at 8:30 but come up line busy until 9:00am. When I do get through It is straight to triage where I'm lucky if i even get a call come mid day. The way some of the staff talk to you it makes you leave feeling like you weren't listened to or that it was pointless.

Can never get through on the phone! Only one guy in the whole building will go out of his way to help out. He knows who he is and so does everyone else!
