Stayed here when first stepped into Glasgow. The rooms are big and well maintained. All the basic amenities are available. The negative on my part was the unavailability of an elevator. Travelling as an international student for the first time, one can imagine the amount of luggage and bags I had ?? so it was difficult to carry them up to the room and back again. The rooms in itself were great. The staffs were sweet and polite. Breakfast was provided as promised but it was in a go to bag and was not very filling. I didn?t take any pictures of the room but the rooms were good as mentioned before . Another con was the railway station was far away by walk.

The first room we were given smelled of bad drains, second room was better but with plug in air fresheners that was probably the reason why staff were rude when problem was highlighted as if they couldn't be bothered. On leaving the second room to go for dinner and on our return the corridor smelled like an older person's home. Rooms: Very tired and run down, but clean and well stocked with towels, toiletries & coffee. Staff lovely. Perfect for one night to get your head down and dog friendly.

The carpets in the room and out in the hallways were completely stained with big yellow patches and the hallways stank of sewage. When we were looking forward to our breakfast it came in a paper bag with a croissant, breakfast bar and small carton of fresh orange which wasn't clear of the website. The beds were clean and comfy and the staff were friendly which is why we have given a 4 but the smell was really awful and it has put us off returning.

We recently had a 3 day stay at this hotel. During our stay the cleaners did not visit our room once. Although not early rising we were clear of the room by 11am each day and hung up the ready to clean sign on the door. The bin was not emptied, beds not made, towels not changed and no dusting.After trying to watch the TV on the first evening and only achieving an interrupted picture on BBC2 and no other channels we reported to reception the following morning. This was never rectified.Reception staff very pleasant but no attention to detail in the rooms, very disappointing.Rooms: Not cleaned in 3 days and TV not working

Stayed here as going into Glasgow. Great value. Very little noise so slept well. Lynn welcomed me for the annual visit again and even remembered me from last year.. Very nice and a great bonus for the Ibis chain of hotels.

A very basic accommodation, clean comfortable room and very helpful staff. Surprised room wasn't cleaned nor towels changed, but apart from that an affordable convenient hotel.Noteworthy details: Veronica is a textbook example of outstanding customer service, excellent receptionist always willing to help
