It is a great shop, community orientated, and a pleasurable experience. However, the cafe is an entirely different experience. The regular female staff member is far from customer focused, rude, confrontational, and disrespectful. A recent visit with my elderly parents was to say the least, uncomfortable. After a 10 minute wait with no other customers around I asked if I could be served, and she replied aggressively,I only have one pair of hands. She then brought the slice of toast to the table 15 mins later ,almost throwing it down. Couldn't believe it. Said nothing at the time as it was clear it would have escalated and wanted to avoid that for the sake of my very elderly parents. It's such a shame that the conduct of staff in the cafe detracts from the lovely local shop that it is. This refers to Tesco Craigmarloch Cumbernauld.

Nice and big with a good selection. Self service staff are fine if a little slow sometimes. No complaints really. Good place to shop.

Cafe was very poor meant to open at 8am guy was still sorting hot plate at 8.15 breakfast just looked like a reheat and tasted likewise very poor for first and last visit.

The rear car park is full of potholes and getting worse by the week. They are almost unavoidable for the click and collect area.
The main car park also has a large area of crumbling tarmac on the perimeter route. I'm sure the staff/management are well aware but nothing is being done.

Click and collect service is abysmal. Only awarded 2 stars for the staff who are regularly left to deal with the fall out when service levels fail.
Yet again this weekend the van has broken down, leaving customers sitting parked in an abandoned rear car park until they get a call telling them to drive a 7 mile round detour to collect at the Town Centre store. This happens now regularly - why cant the vans be maintained to ensure the service we pay for actually exists!!
