Was in today around 2pm 2.30pm Customer service I received was awful. I had bought the valentines meal for two. I had forgotten my clubcard today I don't have the app yet. I spoke to a really helpful young lady at the self service checkouts and I asked her if it ok to get a photograph of my clubcard so I could scan and get the savings. She was happy for me to do this. I called a family member to send me a picture of it. I work a full time and a part time job in social care and every little bit of savings really helps. While I was waiting another less helpful staff member approached me with long dark red hair and told me that she cannot accept photographs of my club card under any circumstances I said to her I thought that that only applied to staff discount cards but she said no it applied to club cards. So I had to hand all the valentine's meal back as I didn't have enough money with me to purchase at full price, I felt really embarrassed and to top that embarrassment I was next to my neighbours. The staff member was quite abrupt in the way she spoke to me, if that's the policy that's fair enough but there's a way to say it. I went to another store with my clubcard as I went back to collect it. I asked them if that was the policy and they said if it scanned they accepted it they apologised to me for the poor service I received at tryst store they were lovely. This experience has really put me off this store I think IL start using the other store close to me. The young lady who tried to help me is an asset to your store but the other employee requires more customer care training. I worked in Asda for four years and KFC for four years so I know through experience that I was experiencing bad customer service. Not a way to attract customers to your store. I had been shopping here for 17yrs with great experiences before this

Some of there staff are rude beyond belief! Not helpful at all and management are afraid to police there staff.

I recently visited the Cumbernauld Superstore on Saturday, December 16th, at 09:30, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. Several issues significantly impacted my overall shopping experience.Firstly, the self-scan machines were not working, causing delays and inconvenience. Additionally, the Tesco app presented challenges as it doesn't allow two individuals to log in simultaneously. To manage this, I had to resort to using a screenshot of the barcode connected to my Google Wallet, essentially creating a makeshift second card.The checkout process was marred by a staff member who appeared to be having a difficult day, leading to poor service from the start. When I attempted to scan my club card, I was abruptly told, "You can't do that." Despite seeking clarification and explaining my situation, I was met with a rigid response citing policy as the reason for the change.The staff's overall response during this visit lacked empathy and seemed content delivering unwelcome news. The communication style used made me feel talked down to, resembling being addressed like a child.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope this feedback leads to improvements in the customer experience at the Cumbernauld Superstore.

Shop here every Saturday early in morning,but after getting abuse and threatening behaviour off the cleaner today I will never ever be back I wait to here from Tesco before I take it further, the guy even asked me for fight and it is all on Cctv

Getting very fed up going here. Quite often they don't have what I want. Never enough checkouts open and the queues are half way up the aisles. What's going on Tesco ?

The service is/was extremely poor. I waited 22 minutes for a plate of macaroni. Soggy.. looked like a plate of tripe. When it artived the plate was dropped on my table 'Theres your food.' And he walked away.. No apology... nothing. I told the staff i was writing a review.

My experience in Tesco extra has always been good. Staff are friendly and helpful and the products I use are always in the same places. Which is perfect for me to get in and out.

The standards in this store seem to be slipping massively. Bakery department is terrible, nothing is baked properly and the quality is very low, in store baker is obviously badly trained or incompetent.Too many home shopping colleagues obstructing aisles and in general the store seems to have become very disorganised and dirty.

The last several times I have tried to do an online shop the majority of produce is either not available or out of stock. I have been a Tesco shopper for over 25 yrs however find myself shopping elsewhere because you can?t get most of what you want on line. Poor show Tesco.
