Nice wee place on the road, not very visible so better to slow down as you reach the exit.
Nice coffee, cakes and in general comfy atmosphere. Waiters were very kind.

Best stop on our trip north. Friendly and attentive staff and the food was way above our expectations! Have passed by this place plenty and never stopped. This time, we stopped to walk our dog as we still had another 3 hours to go on our trip, and popped in for lunch. Wow! Great coffee and the fry-up was brilliant. Added to our favourite place to stop while heading north. Highly recommend giving it a try. Dog friendly to boot!

I?ve been here a few times and enjoyed the coffee and cakes. The savoury food from kitchen is hit-and-miss - the macaroni and eggs Benedict I?ve have previously were alright but not amazing (for price would expect higher level of execution). Today I had the breakfast quesadilla, which was a huge portion but couldn?t tell whether it had cheese in it, per the name!
Anyway, they have a tent aside the building to offer more seating but this means the cafe itself is currently very cold as side door is always open.
New staff messed up my order and getting them to sort it seemed to be left entirely to me. More experienced staff could hear what was going on but didn?t see fit to step in. Meanwhile my food is getting cold and my husband dealing with our baby alone. It was my birthday breakfast out and kinda ruined the vibe for the day. Customer service just wasn?t there.
I would come back for coffee/cakes casually but wouldn?t risk anything more.

One of the best bacon and black pudding rolls I've ever had. No, change that, the best I've ever eaten, well done!

Perfect cafe next to the A9 right before Inverness. Excellent proper coffee and home made bakes. They offer breakfast and lunch options too. Lots of seating options inside and outside as well.

Great variety of choice, and both full english and mac n cheese with haggis where top quality. The portions were also quite generous. Highly recommend a visit.

Food was amazing but overpriced. Wanted all day breakfast as it was on the menu but it was mac n cheese night?? waited 1 hour to get food even thought there were only 2 other tables occupied. Then had to ask for our drinks at the counter when eventually served our food. Might go back once I win the lottery.

Excellent place to stop for food and or enjoy a walk. We had the vegan haggis ciabatta and tuna melt ciabatta. Prices are steep, really steep. £10.50 for a ciabatta with some crisps ? Maybe I'm showing my age. However the food was without fault! Delicious! So 5*

Have stopped here many times on our journey north. Pleasant staff, good coffee and scones. Great area to sit outside as well. Dogs welcome inside too. Lovely forest walks surround the cafe. A wee bit pricey for food, but good quality.

Set in stunning forest, we couldn?t believe this was just off a main road. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The food fresh and delicious. Seating both inside and out. Dogs welcome. A place to see red squirrels!

Lovely square sausage and tatie scone bun for breakfast. Saw a real life red squirrel from the window. Dog friendly inside and out.
