Nice to see the place getting used after being empty for so long but a tourist trap for anyone heading north...... Very expensive and slow service although the waitresses were very pleasant to speak to. I won't be rushing back as a

Very good iced coffee and hot chocolate. We got a sweet chilli chicken + mozzarella toastie on brown, and a black pudding ciabatta which were both tasty. The forest location is a nice view to eat lunch, we will definitely go back :)

Food is ridiculously overpriced for smaller portions. I had the all day breakfast and I think most of it was cooked well in advance (hours not minutes) as it was dry and verging on inedible (only exception was the bread which was nice). Menu also slightly misleading as eggs normally means more than one?. Not in this caseQuite honestly, supermarkets offer better breakfasts more a lot less money?. Or even V8Avoid

This was our first visit to North Gateway and we have been missing a treat. Every time we pass we say we should give it a go and today we did, and what a treat we had. The food was delicious, it really was, hot and very tasty. The staff were really nice and friendly too. I'm looking forward to returning!

Lovely spot with nice walking routes. Cakes and coffee are delicious if a little expensive. Would definitely recommend stopping by if walking in the area.

A lovely little place on A9 just before Inverness, where we stopped for some coffee and snacks. It was almost closing time but they welcomed us with a smile and helped us to relax for a while. Very nice location and ambience. Loved it.

A great place to stop for a quick bite before heading past Inverness. Plenty free parking, disabled access, and dog friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating areas.Food is good with lots of baking on offer. Order at till, it's not table service. Service loses a point for not telling me I had to collect my own cutlery etc or where I would find it. (Sits up against the drinks cabinet to the right of the till/ entrance to kitchen. It's a minor point I know. Other than that I'll be halt to stop again and try the baking.

A great pit stop on the northern side of the A9 before you dip down into Inverness. Parking and loos, great tea and bacon rolls. Red squirrels sightings from cafe windows for added interest.

Nice, cosy cafe with friendly staff. Cakes were fresh and delicious and the coffee was nice. Negatives- Far too much syrup in the coffees and service was quite slow even though the place was almost empty

Been meaning to come here since they opened and finally made it. Really good breakfast sandwich and Eggs Benedict (GF bread available). In early, which was just as well as started to fill up before we left.Justifies its reputation.

A gem of a place. Called in for a late lunch. Great choice of food and cakes, helpful friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Dog friendly too.
