Disappointed in the visit this afternoon. We visit Tyndrum almost monthly we stay at the holiday park (FANTASTIC) we have been coming to the green welly for many years and has always been great. Today however was poor. So poor I would not come back if this was my first visit. We only ordered hot beverages and scone, muffin. The hot chocolate and the scone was lovely as usual, the Tea was terrible, lacking in taste despite adding milk and sugar, didn?t finish it as poor quality and the chocolate muffin we ordered was probably the worst muffin we?ve ever tasted, was like a week old. It was dry, hard inside and out and the taste was of cheap cake mix flavour. Terrible indeed. Service was okay but lacking in terms of other visits. Disappointed leaving as we had spent cash to put items in the bin really. ? overall not great.

Very handy stop just off main A82 for food but also lovely for gift shopping /outdoor clothing. We ate around 3pm when there were not many people in restaurant though none of the 11 tables in view from ours, had been cleared. Our sandwich/scone& tray bake were tasty. Coffee was good, tea not very hot.

Always a nice spot to stop off. Clean toilets. Bit of tourist trap but that I don't mind. Good place to sit on the benches and watch the world go by. A bit pricey for what it is. Plenty of parking. Petrol station on site with a small shop.

This rest stop is highly functional. It has a 24-hr self-service outdoor laundromat, which is a lifesaver for hikers. The laundromat comprises two washers and a dryer. For the washers, you don?t have to bring your own detergent as they dispense their own detergent (very convenient!).The rest stop also has a shop selling a range of standard convenience store items as well as some hiking and camping equipment, and a cafe. There is ample parking at the back and also an electric charger for electric cars.

It?s an essential stop on a WHW through-hike, and has everything you may need (bar a weather changing magic potion). Delicious food in the restaurant (for reasonable prices), a well equipped outdoor goods shop, and much else.Staff was friendly and understanding of dripping wet hikers, and the meal was a much needed pick-me-up part way through a long rainy day.

Great place to fill up the gas tank, grab some lunch and buy some souvenirs. They even have an outdoor shop if you need to replace any clothing, footwear or hiking goods.

Always love to take a comfort break here. Toilets are clean with free handcream which is a nice touch. The shops are fun to browse and I have found many unusual gifts over the years. The whisky tasting is a must if you are not driving and the assistant is really knowledgeable and usually has something new to let us sample. It's a great stop for tourists, young and old. The restaurant caters for all tastes. The Cullen skink soup is one of the best . Be sure to give it a try!

Great place to stop for the toilets, but the layout of the store and some of the items being sold just felt a bit odd (slightly labyrinthine and cluttered)... it's hard to describe, but I was hoping they would have a good range of whisky, and all I could find was one small display window in the corridor to the toilets that had some random stuff that seemed 'off brand'.The books looked great however, and I'm going to stop here again to have a better look at them.Another thing was the odd vacant feel of the large canteen on the left as you walk in.On the plus side, it's ideally placed, there is plenty of parking and the loos were great?Update: i've read other reviews and apparently there is a whisky selection! it's a shame it wasn't obvious as I was hoping to buy some Ardbeg.

Try the traditional Scottish fish soup, it is quite nice and wholesome, it's is about £7 for a small portion. The staff were nice and helpful. However the prices are really high, so we didn't order much.

We always stop off here as we love it. There's a wee bit of everything in the shops and a good cafe with decent toilets. It is usually busy but we've always managed to park no problem.
