This B&B was charming with warm and welcoming owners. Honestly, the room felt too nice for a couple of rain-soaked hikers. Amazing breakfast and packed lunch as we headed back onto the WHW next morning. Would happily have stayed longer, would happily return.Food & drinks: The Rod & Reel pub just down the road had great food with generous portions.

Wonderful stay at Craigbank as we passed through on the west highland way. We walked in soaking and they very kindly took everything to the drying room asap, and also were able to make us a soup and sandwich since the local restaurant was closed. Room was very comfortable and the shower was amazing!! Lovely breakfast in the atrium the next day. Thanks again Colin and Veronica!

Veronica and Colin are lovely and welcoming hosts. After arriving soaking wet from a 35km walk they dried our jackets and covers. Also they offered paper to stuff soaked shoes. The room was furnished tastefully, everything needed was at hand including water, tea and coffee. Only opportunity for improvement would be that the window in the room was only to be opened partially due to the blinds mounted to the window frames.Breakfast was amazing! Everything you might want to eat having a long day of hiking ahead: Fresh fruits, yoghurt, rolls, croissants, cheese, jam, cereals, ...).Putting in a nutshell, we can strongly recommend staying at Craigbank Guesthouse!

Colin and Veronica were lovey hosts, from accommodating us at last minute, to offering to help dry our very wet gear. The room was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was a great start to the day. Would stay again if passing

Very nice couple run it. Some rooms along the road can be noisy. Otherwise no complaints! The hosts made us lunch to go instead of breakfast as we had to get going before breakfast.

West Highland way day 3, 23 miles down and drenched to the skin. No signal for a call to inform we were running late. A problem.... not at all. A cheerful smile and a warm welcome was abound. Off with the wet clothes and we'll get them drying was the order of the day.Veronica and Colin couldn't look after us enough.Down we went for a warm seat with some good background music for a dram or two from the hipper. If your looking for a welcome in the gloom, this is the stop to take. Many thanks to you both and apologies for taking so long to get this review in.

A perfect stop on the West Highland Way.The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gladly offered to do our laundry and clean our camping dishes. Breakfast was delicious and they have vegetarian English breakfast options. If you are looking for a place to stay in Crainlarich; look no further.

Between us we have stayed in many bed and breakfasts. We both agree the attention to detail here was above anything ever experienced before. As a result our stay was lovely.Just some examples are: a usb and multi-plug adapter thoughtfully positioned between beds.An efficient drying room and very attentive monitoring to get everything dry.Information in the room leading to a exceptional local dinner booking, which we would never have considered otherwise.A breakfast form ordering system leading to a very efficient breakfast. Additionally we?d say it was the best cooked breakfast of the whole trip (9 days). We were just sorry we didn?t have enough room to try the Continental selection!
