Went for lunch and drinks here while on a whisky tour - it was possibly the highlight of my trip. I could've spent days here! Enjoyed the food, a great whisky selection and the staff were brilliant. Felt like the kind of place where locals and tourists drink happily side by side. Oh, and they look after their cask ales... read full comment

Only visited the bar, didn't stay at Inn. But Highlander Inn has an amazing bar. It is clear that staff really takes their job seriously, and they deeply care about the experience of selecting the right whisky. I had a Mekle Tour and the Balvenie - both new ones I had never tried, but carefully selected from a description... read full comment
