Called in on our way home at the end of our holiday. Only looking for a webbing belt, but I could have stayed all day!!The owner is really welcoming, helpful and interesting to talk to. Time didn't allow a visit to the museum; we said that we would visit in the future and I shall ensure that we do.

what an absolutely fantastic place. dont think you can just nip in for a browse this place is full to the brim of history of the world wars and more. the chap who runs it is very friendly happy to chat and also extremley knowledgeable. the shop itself is worth the time to look around but downstairs there is a mini museum that is just full of history. you'd be crazy not to visit.

We came across this gem of a place quite by accident but we loved it! The owner was so welcoming, knowledgeable and patient with my children and us adults while we explored the museum downstairs, asked loads of questions and were amazed at all the items on display. This place is definitely worth a visit and was a highlight of our holiday in Northumberland

We stopped for a look whilst driving in the campervan. A hidden gem. War museum in the basement of the shop. Had a good old look (dog friendly) and bought a ladies scarf and a super tough Rucksack.

Stopped here while driving to London. Owners are terrific and very friendly.Surplus stores and military history is starting to be difficult to find in Canada. I think I've seen more items here than I've ever seen back home.I definitely recommend checking it out! We went out of our way coming here and don't regret it! Got a great deal on a sporran!They also have a small museum open for free in the basement.
