Only visited for food and drinks.Food was nice enough. Price was good. We were seated in the restaurant part which was pretty empty at the time, so, felt a little soulless ( could perhaps do with some gentle music or to break the silence).Spent more time in the bar. Friendly staff and customers. Not expensive at all.... read full comment

Only popped in for a quick pint to break up a journey.Traditional comfortable style bar.Friendly service and the beer was good.Food looked and smelled appetising and if we'd had more time I'd have ordered a meal.
