The cafe here always serves delicious food and homebaking, it sells excellent jams & chutneys, there's great coffee, the staff are lovely - and there are Highland Coos nearby ? What's not to love !The pottery is brilliant, the Glass Studio is amazing and the walks are fabulous, it's a great place to spend time.

Nice little collection of shops and cafe in the Hirsel estate at Coldstream. The pottery sells some nice stuff as do the other shops. The cafe is good for a light lunch or tea and cake/scone etc.

Really lovely to find some where that is dog friendly and has lots of decent size walks as well as a cafe. We did a 5km loop through woods and on paths. Was a lovely trip out and will definitely go again.

We had a nice walk round. Due to the inclement weather we only had a short walk but there are several well signposted longer walks to do. As we were going elsewhere for lunch we didn't eat at the cafe but it was pretty busy given the weather. There are also a few shops on site which looked interesting.

Fantastic walks & lots of wildlife about. Great for people & dogs. Also a cup of coffee/tea & yummy cakes/tray bakes at the end of the walk at the cafe.

Various craft businesses, cafe, gallery, and pleasant easy walks. £2.50 to park a car. Very enjoyable in dry weather although a small number of displays not fully open yet.

Great place to visit & walk around the lake. Cafe there is a bonus for a cuppa after.

Lovely place, very good cafe with outdoor seating. Interesting craft studios and lovely walks of varying lengths. We did the one around the lake, then after a delicious lunch which was very good value, we then did the longest walk. A lovely way to spend a day.

Lovely place. Sat at out door cafe with 2 of my 3 dogs. Water provided by cafe for pooches.Would definitely recommend for a beautifulwalk round the lake, saw lots of ducks from the bird hide, and a relaxing afternoon coffee and apricot scone. There are lovely woods further on in the estate which I didn't visit this time, but at well worth a look.

Beautiful setting, liked the pottery designs and prices reasonable so bought quite a lot! Friendly and knowledgeable craftspeople. Bought 2 tweed bags and went back again to order more with family. Will definitely return in a few days. It is important to support small business and creativity! Good place to buy presents for yourself and others!

The food in the cafe was ok. But the service was very poor. Had to call a member of staff over on 3 separate occasions during our visit. Small portions for cost. I appreciate they are having to get used to new working practices and they have set the cafe up well for restrictions but this doesn't excuse forgetting drinks, no milk and no return service once completed meal. Especially as we witnessed other people getting the right service and people who came in after us had their meals and left before we had to call someone over to get a second drink. ?
