Visiting area popped in for a drink made very welcome lovely lady behind the bar , I had steak pie full of meat which just fell apart partner was very happy with chilli, good value for money

Visiting Coldstream and this pub was the absolute best. friendly staff dog friendly inside and out. Best soup we ever tasted food was top notch 5 STARS.

Food was OK, drinks actually over priced.
And don't bring your yippie dog to your workplace where people are trying to have a meal.
Letting your dog yip bark and sit next to your customers.

As an Ex Coldstream Guard, the visitors book choked me up a bit. Seeing the names of the old and bold who had visited before was emotional. The food and service were exemplary, and I can't wait to visit again when I come back to see the museum.

Stopped for quick lunch and the food was fabulous.
We had haggis starter, fish and chips, lamb burger and homemade steak pie.
Prompt service and friendly diners. Glad we stopped for bites.

Cold and drab. What a shame as Coldstream is nice. This pub could really be the heart of the village if a little work was done to brighten it up.
The owners are missing an opportunity here for sure.
Didn't eat here, but the food we saw coming out looked pretty average

Stopped for lunch on our way home, a great find with excellent food and lovely service. The sirloin steak was perfect, so were the scampi and chips. Will certainly be back.

Small, friendly and cosy pub on tbe highstreet, dog friendly and lovely home cooked food with large portion size. Reasonably priced and great selection of drinks on tap and behind bar.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available
Parking: Free on street parking (unlimited time after 6pm, between 8am-6pm 1 hour only) or small free carpark across the street. Usually able to find a space

Lovely pub Sunday lunch was yummy ? pre-booked as there was 12 of us a few had starters that looked amazing I chose to have desert definitely going back when in the area
