If I could give 0 stars I would, was in yesterday as had just arrived in Coldingham, lady was very blunt and anti social, went in again today to get a few bits, paid £41 for their grossly overpriced stuff, older lady with brown curly hair, very rude & obnoxious, friendly enough to the locals that were in the shop at the time though, defo shouldn?t be working with the public with her bad attitude! my kids even commented on her attitude when we left the shop ?never again ?, here for the week but will never be back!!

It?s a well stocked shop, goes back way further inside than you think on the outside. Prices are what you expect given the location etc. However nothing could have prepared me for the middle aged woman serving in the shop. I have yet to meet a person with such an attitude towards the very people who are providing her with a living. In my mind if you don?t want a customer facing job , then don?t do one. Maybe we caught her on a bad day but there is no need for ignorance, not a smile, thank you or anything. I must add that in all other local village shops we have been to , the person behind the counter has always been interactive in a positive way. I actually went to the coop in the next village so I didn?t have to repeat the experience.

Fairly expensive but a lot of options. For a spar it?s certainly one of the bigger I?ve come across but prices were a bit of a let down. Good selection for a small village though.

Small and expensive but it is the best shop unless your heading into St Abbs. Carry's all the basics
