Popped in on Saturday night for a few cold ones and snacks, received lovely service with a smile and a laugh from the lady behind the counter on the backshift. Quite well stocked for an Express store, I will return next time I am in the area.

All fridge doors open... I picked something that should be in cold temperature and it wasn't. Who knows for how long it was like that. This is a food safety risk, as it promotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Not the 1st neither the 2nd time I go to the shop and see this.

I'm in tesco multiple times every week, today I came in with my girlfriend and the security guy stood over our shoulder the full time, gave us dirty looks until we picked something up to buy, and followed us breathing over our shoulder until we paid. Don't think I'll be coming back for a while, put us both on the spot and we bought stuff we didn't even want. All this talk about respecting workers of the shop but we were entirely disrespected today. Do better.

I?m raging with myself. I forgot to hand over my clubcard and didn?t get my clubcard points. The items I got are on special and would have got money. off. The time I remembered the payment had went through. I should?ve asked for my receipt. It?s my own fault.

Just a little branch of Tesco Express and it's pretty much what you'd expect from this kind of convenience store. It's definitely on the small side but they manage to have space for most of the essentials. If you need to do a big shop or if you're after any items much more complicated than a loaf of bread and a pint of milk then you're better heading to a bigger store. They have a few checkouts but no self-service ones and there's an atm just outside. The store layout is pretty sensible, with most of the chilled items towards the back of the store and some freezer units along one wall.
