Outstanding quality, value & service. Went with a friend on Sunday with a Groupon deal. The welcome we recieved, food quality/portions & choice available was second to none. The Poori starter & Chilli Masala main where exceptional. A must visit for anyone who enjoys Indian food.

Takeaway arrived pretty much on time.Chips were cold/soggy,,veg pakora was cold/hard.Rice was hard/luke warm.South indian garlic chilli which i asked for medium was far too spicy (and i like a spicy curry) it tasted more like a phaal.Pretty much entire meal was binned and wouldnt use crown jewel again.Maybe just an off night as reviews seem good but once bitten twice shy they say.

This is a great restaurant with a great range of delicious Indian food at reasonable prices. You will find all your favourites as well as some superb speciality dishes. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well. The set menus are generous and great value. The service is also attentive, quick and friendly. It's easy to park nearby and is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. Although it doesn't bother me personally, the restaurant doesn't have an alcohol licence and I think this keeps people away so it's usually quiet and lacks atmosphere.

An unusually bad experience after ordering a takeaway. Ordered chicken Tikka masala but its certainly not what we got; the sauce was really watery and totally tastless. The chips were quite simply inedible and went straight in the bin. Also waited an hour and 45 mins only for the food to arrive stone cold. Can only imagine it wasnt the usual chef as we've eaten form here on a number of occassions and had no complaints.
