Visited this branch about a week ago. Visited the other branch (Coatbridge) today and was so shocked at the appalling customer service there that it has prompted me to write this review. The Coatbridge branch was absolutely awful and a polar opposite experience to what I had at this branch last week. The staff here was friendly and polite and made me and my dogs feel welcome. There was a young man staff member in the store who had some dog biscuits on him and said he always keeps some in his pockets to give the dogs who come in a treat - I thought this was a lovely idea and very kind. Made us feel valued as customers. Will definitely return to this branch and will definitely never return to the other one!

Visited the shop in Clydebank today to purchase walking shoes. Given a great deal of help to find the best ones for fit and purpose by David C. Great shop, well laid out too. Recommended.

My 2 months old shoe fell apart, under warranty I came in... was sent away saying shoe needs to be clean and dry (it was clean and dry)... went to go outdoors airdrie (nice staff there no issues replacing)

Went to the physical store for the first time, after already being to a different retailer with an issue with my tent and was turned away. And because my tent is a few years old, I wasn't sure it'll be fixable, however David C in the Clydebank store went above and beyond and fixed it! Honestly what a man!

Had an ebike for a simple service not including any electrics just brakes etc. After 2 weeks called ...waiting for part
One week later we cant source that part (a chain). Bought and supplied new chain. Paid more to have that fitted. Collected next day.....chain jumping. Was still ok with old chain but they threw that away. Next day....needs new crankset which we can't do as we dont have the special tools. Apologies cant find old chain as bin emptied yesterday. Well l returned the bike yesterday 5 minutes after collecting . Collected bike again today and took it elsewhere.It's actually the rear axle sprocket wheel which needs replaced..not the front cfainset....no special tools required but we're now in a long queue. That'll be 3 weeks at Go Outdoors and at least another week. Won't be returning to Go Outdoors.

Had the need to exchange a pair of shoes no problem in doing this at the store . Ended up buying a more expensive pair. Would just like to say all the staff were excellent especially the girl on the desk sorry don?t know her name but she had red hair. Keep up the good work big 5 starts to clydebank.
