Lovely little pub

We stayed here for a night last weekend and had a great time. The room was perfect with a very comfy bed but the best thing about our stay was the fantastic atmosphere. We had the most delicious fish and chips and a great welcome from both staff and locals alike. It is such a friendly place to be and it was a great experience. Thank you!

We came down for the night and stayed at the cottage, lovely little two bedded cottage which was spacious and dog friendly which for me is the best! We also had the carvery which was super tasty! The staff were all welcoming and very friendly! Lovely place to come to and will be back asap! ??

We stayed on Wednesday evening last week. Very welcoming staff. Big room. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. There was a large spread for the continental breakfast. Recommended.

The hotel itself we could not find fault, it was spotlesly clean and tidy and price at £65 per night is hard to beat.
However not stared at the time, the bar is not open Mondays and Tuesdays. Hoped to have
a little celebration with my wife on our wedding anniversary.
Had I known this I would not have booked here.
I probably would go back but not at the beginning of the week.

Renovations in progress. We had the place to ourselves. Self check in and continental breakfast set out nicely in a well decorated room.

The pub was closed for refurbishment, but the accommodation still available. Comfortable and great place to stay.

Superb pub. Popped in for some great pub grub on a Saturday evening. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good value food and two cask pumps showcasing an independent brewery.
The kind of pub you wished you lived near.
Highly recommended.

Just had a beautiful Burns supper at the Waterloo Arms. The homemade Scotch Broth, haggis neeps and tatties plus the cranachan were delicious. All the staff were lovely and the service was excellent.

Love this place. The do pizza night on a Wednesday and a curry night on a Thursday. Really good beer, lovely atmosphere and would highly recommend

Great little pub. Very convivial. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Fresh ingredients throughout. Definitely would visit again when in the area.
Vegetarian options: Roast veg lasagne. Yum!

Stayed for 3 nights with our grandson great base to travel to other places, Angie makes a great breakfast. Angie and all the staff and locals very friendly.
