We stayed here for a night last weekend and had a great time. The room was perfect with a very comfy bed but the best thing about our stay was the fantastic atmosphere. We came down for the night and stayed at the cottage, lovely little two bedded cottage which was spacious and dog friendly which for me is the best! We also had the carvery which was super tasty! The staff were all welcoming and very friendly! Lovely place to come to and will be back asap! ♥️
A cosy village pub with a bar, restaurant and rooms available. The bar has a real fire adding extra cosiness in the winter months. We have an outside seating area which enjoys the floral displays at the rear of the pub and overlooks the ancient village Kirk. We serve a wide range of spirits including an interesting selection of gins and single malt whiskies. We offer locally sourced real ales from breweries based in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. Customer favourites include Racing Green, names after Chirnside local world’s champions rally driver, Jim Clark
Our restaurant offers traditional home cooked pub classics locally sourced wherever possible using fish fresh from Eyemouth, Scottish beef and local seasonal vegetables.
