Good value lunch. Everything is homemade. Came in before noon for an easy lunch. We had the quiche of the day accompanied by a salad and coleslaw. Soup of the day with bread and butter. Very tasty. Pricing is decent. Not cheap but also not so expensive. We enjoyed the lunch and continued our journey in the Scottish Highlands.

The best coffee and cake around. Highly recommended. Chatty, friendly staff. Love the rustic quirky look and artwork. The home baking really is out of this world. Delicious.

Really friendly welcome with most obliging staff. Small selection of great lunches, locally sourced quality ingredients, and a big selection of fresh baked scones & cakes. Fantastic (Cromarty roasted) coffee from top machine (& barista!) Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, clean and arty surroundings - some painting etc for sale too. Obviously, a brilliant bicycle refreshment / ?refuelling? stop. Highly recommended!

The Old Bakery is a longstanding Carrbridge eaterie, that came under new ownership / operation in spring '22, & is officially now The Croft Cafe at The Old Bakery, so a bit of a mix of naming which is still to be reflected on here. A bit of a mix in general, as it looks a bit tired & uninspiring from the outside, but is much more welcoming & interesting once inside. And likewise with a lesser menu on the outside than is on the tables inside. So perhaps not doing all they could to entice folk in, but definitely recommend stepping through that front door. Interior is pretty rustic, with a nice range of local artists' / crafters' work around the walls, & various foodstuffs from other small local producers also available. A table of lovely looking cakes & other bakes also greets you on arrival. Had an excellent breakfast, washed down with very good coffee, & finished off with one of the aforementioned bakes. Highly recommend! Apparently the owner also has a croft locally, so hence the name, but unless you overhear him speaking about this then it's not evident from the menu or general marketing. Seems like there's a great basis from which to build this place up, & hopefully they can knit all the pieces together in order to make a real go of what has the potential to be a really nice destination cafe with some good local provenance at it's heart.

Great Aussie welcome in the Highlands. Bacon roll, coffee should also be tried in addition to the amazing tasting and vfm venison burger. Open 7 days a week even in the winter. Four visits in our week at nearby Lochanhully. We?ll be back!

The best place to eat within Carrbridge! Had an absolutely delicious Venison burger and my partner had breakfast roll. During the 7 days we stayed nearby the 9 of us visited twice. All the food and items are handmade. You're sure to be well taken care of. Even bought some delicious Heavy Metal Jam!
