You will not believe the extortionate prices in this Spar. Some items up to four times the price of Asda or Tesco items, clearly taking the mickey out of customers which is not on. The wifey who's hair looks like it has been dragged through a thorny bush backwards does nae have a clue wat she is meant to be doing in that wee Post Office.

very expensive for majority of food and drink. Post Office side of things is always closed with signs up constantly saying "closed for 1 hour due to delivery of stock". I went in Spar to post a letter recorded delvery few days ago and the lady assistant was standing at the shop till not serving as shop was empty. When she saw me waiting to be served to post my letter she said post office was closed for an hour. Thought surely the assistant could have served me at post office window as obviously she was not doing anything. She is definitely trained to do post office as she has served me umpteen times, terrible customer service regards the staff. Spar supervisor needs to sort issues out at this store and if not able to provide Post Office service then give it up.

Mostly very slow service at the Post Office based inside this Spar shop. I personally do not think the staff like doing the Post Office as any time I have been in, much of the time they do not appear to be very happy or friendly when you show up at the window (especially the older staff member with dark hair and glasses). If you turn up to Post an item at the Post Office window, if it does happen to be open (it is closed much of the time, meaning constant re-visits), staff members who happen to be on the store's shopping checkout at that time just look hacked off as they know they then have to attend to the Post Office. A lot of the time they leave people standing at the Post Office window for ages. Mostly the staff are never in a hurry to attend to people waiting to use the Post Office. I just think more and more people these days (old and young) are just lazy and lack basic manners. If the Spar staff do not like doing the Post Office side of things they should speak to their management, I am sure I know what they will have to say about it.

Would not recommend this Spar store based on the staff members being quite rude and unhelpful. This is also a fairly expensive shop and I do not normally go here. One day I went here just to use the post office inside this Spar but staff said it is past closing time so post office now closed. It was one minute past the stated closing time but I had been waiting for around 6 minutes at the post office window. One staff member was serving other customers at the normal till whilst I was waiting for around 6 minutes minutes and she was even serving a couple of customers who came into the shop after me. she did not acknowledge me at all even though she saw me standing there, so very unprofessional. Eventually a different lady appeared from the shop floor and said the post office is now closed so she could not serve me (it was one minute past the closing time). I explained I had actually been waiting for around 6 minutes before the stated closing time and nobody came over even though a staff member saw me standing. The lady did grudgingly serve me, but you could tell she did not want to and was unfriendly. Even when I was waiting at the post office window before the stated closing time, the post office blind was down, which normally indicates it is closed., so why close the blind before the stated closing time anyway?
