I've not particularly had a great experience at this surgery. Reception staff can be rather rude, and have found some doctors lack empathy and care. I spoke with Sheila the receptionist this morning, and she was absolutely brilliant. A very kind and considerate lady, and a privilege to this surgery. For as said before, it's not the best reviewed. Thank you Sheila.

I had a prompt reply today to my query about shingles vaccination which I had forgotten I had this 2 years ago. My error and apologies to the receptionists for wasting their valuable time.

I have actually had very good experiences with this clinic. Friendly staff, doctors l/nurses are nice and compared to other clinics I?ve been to they don?t discriminate and actually take you seriously. Very respectful about my needle phobia

Joining this surgery when I moved to the area is like going back in time by 30 years! Wait times for telephone contact is dreadful on every occasion at any time of the day and almost 3 weeks for an appointment with a doctor with no triage service offered. Over a weeks wait to have a non-repeat prescription to be authorised. This poor practice management just adds to the chaos in South Lan A&E departments. Its no wonder they cannot recruit sufficient GPs. And the abrupt reception staff...every person I have spoken to, on every occasion, could use a lesson in basic courtesy . The service from this surgery is abrupt, inadequate and not at all patient centred. They really couldn't make you feel more of an inconvenience to then. Only plus is my GP themselves seems good with a good bedside manner, when I do manage to get an appointment. High Mill, please take some lessons from your neighbouring surgery, who give my husband fantastic service, access ro NHS services and treatment options.

The office manager Sharon Findlay is unbelievably heartless and left me with no doctor right in the middle of one of the most serious health scare of my life!Dr Zinfrilo and Thompson are fantastic!! In my experience avoid Dr McLeod who has been of no help at all through my years here and seems as if retirement can?t come quick enough.

I have been trying to phone & email the surgery for 3days all I?m getting is ?this line is busy please try again later!? Every time! I actually had to phone nhs 24 on Friday for a prescription for antibiotics for my 2 kids (during surgery hours) very poor communication. Can?t be bothered answering the phone!? Very disappointing.

Rude and very unhelpful reception staff! Have had endless problems trying to speak to the doctors, Gillian on reception is incapable Of passing messages onto doctors, she talks over the top of you when trying to speak and her new thing is to cut you off after telling you to stop shouting at her...when your simply talking, perhaps if she listened to parents rather that talking over them?The doctors at this medical practice are lovely, unfortunately the same can?t be said for Gillian, rude unhelpful and extremely poor patent care! I?m now at the stage I would rather wait until I?m so ill I end up in Wishaw General that have to deal with her attitude on the phone!

A doctors surgery, where no one answers the phone!! You call and they say " we have a new system on answering the phones" and then it tells you they are engaged an you have to hang up. Very professional.. " raises eyebrows"

Have recently changed to high mill practice from Lanark. The difference is like night and day. Reception staff were so helpful. Got an appointment quickly around my work schedule with no hassle. I was so stressed out trying to get an appointment at Lanark I gave up eventually. It seems much better ran than my previous practice.
