We found it by chance trying to stop somewhere nice to eat mid route on our way from Glasgow to East Yorkshire. It’s a bit in the middle of nowhere but then magic happens and you enter a very nice, well set restaurant. Beautiful dishes and desserts, and fantastic service. It’s worth the diversion. 5 stars.

We visited for a birthday breakfast, everything was marvellous, lovely fresh food and lovely staff. The Hidden River Cafe is a fantastic little treat in a idilic location 5*
