The room was nice, clean, comfortable bed and very quiet. I overlook the garden and in the distance you can see the sea. Equipped with a kettle with instant coffee and tea and everything needed for showering and shampooing. A hairdryer was missing.
The owners available. The structure appears a little neglected but overall welcoming.

Brilliant (Sgionneil)The pros for the Carradale Hotel are: Great location for island ferries (we went to Islay and Arran), we loved the ?extras? in the rooms (The fruit teas, hot chocolates and the Tunnock?s Caramel bars.), the rooms were clean, Rhona and Cara were really personable (asking us how did we sleep, how are we feeling, what are we doing, etc.) and they were very accommodating to one of our guests (who has coeliac disease ? i.e. gluten free) making sure that there was at least one thing that they could eat on the breakfast and evening menus. The cons for the Carradale Hotel, would be the main road to get there is a 16 mile long single track road with passing places (it was nerve wracking the first time or so getting there but better after that), there was no WiFi but there was a very good 4G signal (okay for us but if you need WiFi...) and, when we staying there, the car park was shut because of an issue with Scottish water and the car park (we personally feel, looking back) could of done with signage.Overall, we would go back there. Rhona and Cara could of not of been any better hosts and we really enjoyed our time there. Happily recommend (yes even with the road and the car parking issues we had) and cannot wait to book there for our next Scottish holiday in a few years time. 4/4.5 starsWalkability: There's a big Carradale walk nearby if you enjoy walking. (A few signs about it around the village.)

I had a wonderful two night stay with my son (10) at the Carradale hotel. We had a lovely room with very comfortable facilities and the food at breakfast and dinner was fantastic. We ate in the hotel both nights. Fell in love with Kintyre and will definitely be back. This place is a gem

Brilliant hotel - comfortable rooms and really good food. Such a warm welcome. Rona and Cara really do go the extra mile. Due to a medical emergency we stayed longer than we had booked for. Looked after like we were family, nothing was too much trouble, can't thank them both enough. Looking forward to going back to this lovely place.

A fantastic hotel, a hidden gem. We stayed just one night at the Carradale Hotel and nothing was too much trouble the owner. We arrived later than expected due to a long ride up from Oban yet The owner and her daughter were happy to wait for us and serve drinks at the bar. Our room overlooked Arrange and was tastefully decorated with the most comfiest bed I have slept in whilst I was away. The choice at breakfast was great and cooked breakfast delicious too. I would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again if in the area.
