The bed wasn't very comfortable and the beer wasn't very nice. The staff were helpful though and were accommodating.

Negatives outweigh the positives - booked 2 rooms for 2 nights left after 1st night.Negatives - dated would have been acceptable... tired, old, unkept dirty is not broken items in bathrooms, dirty carpets in bedrooms. During the stay the lights were out in the corridors and stairs no amenities made to make it safe.. workmen left tools etc on the stairs unattended in darkness. breakfast extremely poor "choice" poor quality of what was offered. owner who was on reception sometimes came across rude and unhelpful.Positives - location is excellent, parking available is free and parking spaces plentiful. rest of the staff friendly and helpful as they were allowed to be.the building could be stunning if invested in.Nearby activities: location excellent in centre of town.

I stayed at the Argyll Hotel for four nights. It was very comfortable and clean. The staff is excellent. The breakfasts were good. I used the dining room a couple of times and it was very nice and quiet. Reasonably priced and convenient to everything. I would stay there again when I am in Campbeltown.

A rather tired hotel which really would benefit from an upgrade, There is no lift and the stairs are steep. I can't remember of the booking site I used asked about disabilities, but we were on second floor. The breakfast was good.
