Consistently, this pharmacy has issued my private prescription short, with no explanation and no follow-up. It absolutely should not be the patient's responsibility to check that what is in the sealed bag is what has been prescribed. This is a failure of process and management. Needless to say, I will go elsewhere in future.

This community deserves a pharmacy that answers an inquiry line that doesn't tell you you are number 1 in a queue for 2 1/2 hour's., then doesn't answer.2 day's in a row this happened, they dont answer at all.I've screenshot everything, I'm furious.I've changed to the other Dixons and will be putting an official complaint in CC my local councilor and MP and who owns this Dixons chain.I will be requesting who's decision it was to use this call system? And who the 'manager' of this particular shop is.I urge anyone else to do the same, OAPs with landlines have no point of contact when they are at their most vulnerable. They are afraid to turn their heating on but will sit on a landline for hour's not knowing they don't answer. SHAMEFUL!I've lived in this community all my life and when it was Leslie's it was a service you could depend on.Not a good look when you wont engage with the people you are paid to support.I very much doubt that you read your own reviews but if you do be more like the manager Stephen from the other Dixons on the main St. Openness, empathy and a desire to help goes a long way.

Had to wait half an hour before being served as no-one was at counter, there should be someone on counter at all times.ordered prescription online waited 5 days before picking it up and they didn't even have it.they need to improve.worst chemist ever

Been in the chemist a few times never a staff member serving at the counter but could hear staff chatting & laughing in the back . It seems as if the customers at the counter are just an inconvenience, when the chemist was run by Lesley?s there was always someone on the counter to take prescriptions & help with enquiries

They very rarely have the prescription ready .On more than a few occasions I have had to go back later .They have had me return half an hour later only to find they never had the item in stock.Twice I have asked for the prescription note ,went to boots and been given the prescribed drugs within 5 mins.Unless your having a boring day and like to listen to everyone in the queue complaint about the wait avoid the place. .

Just wanted to say a big thank you and well done to Lindsay at Dickson?s for how she helped me handle a difficult situation when a customer was very distressed about a personal circumstance and just needed some extra care. She went far above and beyond to offer support. And she did it with compassion and kindness and great judgement of the situation. Hope you got a bit of your lunchtime back. Thanks Lindsay. ?

Been trying to get eye gel at 6 different chemists to be told that there is a manufacturing problem and not getting it in and don?t know when they will, I phoned Dicksons Cambuslang and the girl answering the phone was extremely helpful and advised they have another brand that is just the same, I popped down last night just before closing about 5.45pm and shop was queued out the door, I decided to leave it as this was not an urgent prescription, I popped in again this morning at opening time of 9am and already a queue formed outside of 5 people, all complaining before they even set foot in the shop! I left my prescription and again said I would come back later as not urgent, I picked my prescription up around 3pm today and shop queued our again and more customers complaining that they?ve waited an hour etc, I think the staff in here are under a lot of pressure and are doing the best job they can and customers need to be aware they are busy through the back too and juggling dealing with customers coming in also, they are also working under difficult conditions with the shop being refurbished at the moment too, I think the customers should be more understanding of this, if you can leave your prescription do so and give them more time to make others up and make use of delivery service also, the GP will always say it?s been sent to chemist, however they may just have sent it so give the chemist time to deal with it. Remember if you are a retired person, or someone who does not work you have all day to return to collect it or pop back another so no big urgency to sit and wait thus putting more pressure on the staff sitting huffing and puffing!

This pharmacy is a chaotic mess and lacks basic organisation and customer service. Over various interactions in recent weeks they have generally failed in their service provision. One occasion went to top Dicksons, put in the script and was told 15 mins so left and came back and waited another 40 minutes to be told there was no prescription to be then told they did have the script but the stuff was out of stock, to come back tomorrow. Still wasn?t there the next day, so went to another pharmacy in burnside to get it.Another occasion tried to book and buy a chicken pox vaccine for a child. Top Dicksons asked us if we really wanted it l and then told us to speak to Rutherglen. They were totally clueless as to gap between doses etc and anyway failed to return our call after 5 attempts, no call backs. Anyway have booked Boots who have the info online and able to book (£140).If changing pharmacy at the doctors was not a painful administrative process I would change our pharmacy to someone else.

Waiting in store for 30 minutes when busy cannot be avoided. Being told it would be 15-20 minutes for a prescription that I was told would be ready to collect and then waiting another 70 minutes because you misplaced the script. That is avoidable.

Do you want to wait over 30 mins to buy an over the counter medicine. Totally disorganised.

Was in to find out if they had a prescription Told that they hadn?t received from hospital fair enough I would check back with hospital The reason for poor review was the extremely poor attitude of the counter assistant All new faces again with no clue as to what they are doing

After Dicksons took ownership of the business things have gone downhill. Service is very poor, staff don't seem to care, they give poor excuses for why our prescriptions are delayed, and have misplaced our prescriptions continuously. One time I didn't get my prescription for 3, not because it was out of stock but because they misplaced it and didn't order it on time. Very poor service and very poor attitude

I was having problems with a prescription which wasn't put through. When I called the pharmacy a very nice lady went above and beyond to help me out. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was an absolute star. Many thanks for your help.
