We were greeted by friendly waitresses who came regularly to ask if everything was okay. The atmosphere was comfortable and authentically Scottish. The gin and tonic was very tasty and even I, a non-gin fan, enjoyed it.For dinner we had the vegetarian burger and the mushroom pot pie. The burger was a bit plain, without lettuce, tomatoes or anything like that on it. I then used the side salad, which also tasted very good. The Mushroom Pot Pie was VERY tasty! The white wine sauce went very well with it.Unfortunately we had to move on the next day, otherwise we would have come again. Delicious!Vegetarian options: Pasta, burgers, pot pie

Beautiful, traditional and cosy pub with amazing service. Currently sat beside the log fire and don't want to leave! Dogs allowed, gorgeous home cooked food and even a real ale shop on site. So nice to see a traditional pub still in business. A must

All 10. The place is somewhat isolated from the town, to go by car, surrounded by fields with sheep, which if possible give it a more picturesque air.Very good treatment. The food excellent. The price is average. If you are going to the Highlands and want to eat in a traditional place where locals go and not spend more, this is your place.

The staff here are honestly so lovely, they really make you feel incredibly welcomeWe came out of season so there were not many people here (great for us though!), it would be really nice to see a steak pie on the menu with a pastry base ;-) (only because it?s my favourite and I?m not a fan of the pastry topper style), we had the fish and chips and the haggis (my partner said the haggis was the best and most authentic she?s had)The vibe/feel is super traditional and really lovely, I highly recommend the Lade In for those looking for a traditional pub, with a authentic lovely vibe

It was Sunday night at 7.30. Service was efficient and the meal was pleasant enough. However, although it was very cold outside the log-burning stove wasn?t on - perhaps because after 10 minutes we were the only customers. It was chilly inside too. The feeling that the staff were eager to close for the night was inescapable. I expect that if we?d timed our visit at lunchtime the experience might well have been better.

Stopped there for foods after visiting the highland cow/shop. (There?s no cows until march) Food was okay but main star for us was the soup of the day which are cream of tomato soup.Soup felt like it was home made and not too overly sour, soup it self was smooth but still have alittle bits of onion in it .10/10 for me.Fish and chip (haddock) was also great too really large and fresh and couldn?t fault it. I just wish there?s more Tatar sauce.Haggis ball was also good, recommend to try too if you are not a fan of haggis like me?it?s very delicious. If you enjoy this review please give me a thumbs up and a follow for more food adventures. This Would help me out a lot and greatly appreciated. ??

We booked here last minute for some food and drinks and we couldn?t fault the place. The food was lovely and the portion size was huge. The staff are very attentive and friendly and couldn?t do enough for us. It?s a little out the way from the town centre but only cost £6 to get there. After dinner we went and sat in the bar next to the open fire which was nice and cosy.

Dined at The Lade Inn, nestled at the entrance to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and it's like stepping into a cozy Scottish haven. Surrounded by the countryside, the inn is surprisingly spacious inside, giving you room to breathe and soak in the atmosphere. One unique charm is their own brewed beer, which adds an extra touch to your dining experience. The service was quick, friendly, and remarkably helpful, making you feel like you're among old friends.Walking in, you're greeted by a festive explosion of Christmas decorations, setting the perfect Scottish holiday mood. To complete the ambience, there's proper Scottish folk music serenading from the speakers. Now, for the food, I opted for the steak pie. The pie itself was a treat; you could taste the ale infused into the sauce, and the portion size was hefty. The meat was tender as a Highland embrace. However, the vegetables and fries left me wanting for more flavor.Price-wise, it was just a tad above the pub average, but the overall experience made it worth every penny. If you find yourself at Loch Lomond's doorstep, The Lade Inn is a warm, welcoming stop for a taste of Scotland. ???????

Popped into The Lade yesterday as we always tend to visit when staying in Strathyre. Intended to sit in the snug / bar for a few drinks while the pup snoozed by the fire, but ended up ordering the Bothy Duo x2; mushroom soup was absolutely delicious and the filled baguettes were very tasty. I also had a festive gingerbread latte, which came with a homemade chocolate truffle which was absolutely gorgeous - I'd thoroughly recommend trying them if you can. The staff are always lovely and they always tend to give the dog some love and affection. The choice of ales and whiskies are excellent. Can't wait to visit again.
